Hi Jana,
Could you please attach sapinst_dev.log
Regards,
Anand.
Am not sure if this is possible, but try referring to the user table as dbo.[@XIS...]
It would probably be in your best interest to not change the logical component with an active project as the CRM part of SolMan will be looking for the old name. I think the best course of action is wait for the project to be closed and use the new name on new projects.
Hi again,
I mean HTTP cannot be used for AAE. Please refer the portion of this below link:
Hi,
Account executive, you say? ABAP is a programming language, so you would need to do some general training in programming and IT first.
Then do the ABAP training provided by SAP.
That's the easy part - then you need to find someone to hire you!
good luck
Paul
Hi Martin,
To get list of all your database names do the following:
sp_helpdb
go
Then to list all stored procedures for the specific database.
use dbname (replace dbname with your dbname like saptools)
go
exec sp_stored_procedures '%'
go
Below is a partial results on a cleanly installed sap sybase ase installation.
procedure_qualifier procedure_owner
procedure_name
num_input_params num_output_params num_result_sets remarks
------------------------------ ------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------
---------------- ----------------- --------------- -----------
saptools dbo
SP_DBH_ASEINSTANCE;1
-1 -1 -1 NULL
saptools dbo
SP_DBH_ASERESOURCES;1
-1 -1 -1 NULL
saptools dbo
SP_DBH_DATACACHE;1
You want your stored procedure back from your other systems you would probably want to compare the sql code within the stored procedure on your at least 2 of your other ase's to see it is the same.
In your case to show sql within stored procedure, this could possibly list 100's of lines of output.
sp_helptext SP_ADM_DUMPDB, NULL, NULL, 'showsql,linenumbers'
If you know you want to get this stored procedure from your other systems do this as far as my knowledge is not possible. But you can view the sql and recreate the stored procedure with the same name.
Kind Regards,
Johan
HI Donatas ,
Can you check by trim the key figure in DS transformation.I suspect some null value may causing issue.
Hi Martin,
Is the situation remains the same.If so,please provide the following:
SAPupConsole.log and SAPup.log,
sapcontrol -nr <CI number> -function GetSystemInstanceList
Regards,
Anand.
Hi Amarnath,
1. You hijacked a thread logged by karthik - not cool!
2. Rather log your own thread not to confuse the different issues
3. Your error indicates this xception CX_SQL_EXCEPTION in class CL_SYB_RDI_QUERY
So in ST22 download the short dump and attach it here to make it earsier for us to assist you. Click on "use advanced editor" here when you reply to attach the file.
Kind Regards,
Johan
Have you tried resetting the servername in the SMD admin pages and re-assigning the agent to SolMan?
Hi Justin
Do make sure you are using 'SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET", SP 13. Link to SP 13 is here:
SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio: Updates & Runtime Downloads
Next, how was the report created? Off of an XML?
Can you try the report in the SAP Crystal Reports 2013 designer? Eval is here:
SME Free Trials | SME Software | SAP
You obviously will not be able to connect the report to the dataset in the designer, but should be no problem connecting it to XML or what ever the initial datasource was. Create the parameter prompt there, test, then try to run the report in the app.

Hi Sahil,
To solve this issue, you should edit database parameter directly via sqlplus.
In fact SAP note 1171650 has a script which can auto check all the database settings and lists out
the wrongly set parameter.
best regards,
James
Getting a bit closer - I think...
Can you double check and make sure the main report as well as subreport(s) are using the same database connection type? I've seen it where a main report is connecting via ODBC, subreport via OLEDB and the code assumes ODBC for both. Then it throes errors...
Umm, I suppose as a test, removing the subreports and running the code without them could also be a good test(?).

Hello,
We have a group of users experiencing the following error; When a pre-designed report is refreshed, every dimension title displays as "#NAME?" Also, all formulas display as "#NAME?" as well, and the pre selected context settings do not load.
I tried to build a fresh report, and the report pulls in the correct values, but all dimesions display "#NAME"?
Any suggestions? We have tried re-installing the add-in, and I have processed all dimensions, models, security, logic, etc.
Thanks,
JC
BPC 10.0 SP 12 Patch 2 .NET 3.5 for Microsoft
Build 8083
I have also written the report on another machine running Windows XP. Crystal Reports XI Pro runs just fine on both local machines. After developing the report, I copy it to the server with the report viewer where I get the error.
Do you know of any way to change what Crystal uses for accessing the file system structure from windows authentication to a manually typed user and password? I had a box that came up the first time accessing "file system data" as a source type that had me choose between a specific typed user and password or windows authentication. I chose windows authentication and I would like to change it, but can not find where to do so.
Thanks,
-Matt
Hello, I am a BW Developer and I need ABAP help to create Transformationend routine to DSO (ZDCD_01).
Requirement: Populate records having blank Contract Account/s (with # below table) using RESULT_PACKAGE data using business partner key.
Then create new records for each contract account (if business partner has multiple Contract accounts).
e.g BP3 has CA3 and CA4,
Need to populate two times for each Contract acc in separate rows with CA3 and CA4.
# | BP3 | ABCD | XYZ |
Original Data in DSO;
CACONT_ACC | /BIC/ZBPARTNER | /BIC/ZVAL_OLD | /BIC/ZVAL_NEW |
CA1 | BP1 | A | B |
CA2 | BP2 | 123 | 456 |
CA3 | BP3 | X | Y |
CA4 | BP3 | YYY | ZZZ |

CA3 | BP3 | ABCD | XYZ |
CA4 | BP3 | ABCD | XYZ |
You can terminate the employee in the current company and hire the person in the new company.
Otherwise, it is as Sven said, you need to use Global Employment (GE).
Re: GE, see links below
Hi Jose,
There is SSO with SAP Portal (see http://help.sap.com/erp_sfi_addon30#section4) or with Active Directory. I believe there is a configuration guide on Partner Portal.
All the best,
Luke
