Hi Kal,

Could you help me please.

I have the same problem in the phase Stopped in phase MAIN_SHDIMP/SUBMOD_SHD2_RUN/RUN_RSGE in the Preprocessing phase.

The error is:

Unable to execute the SDT request ABAP operation pre-execute on hostname educa

instance 00 Pre-Uptime execution of the ABAP upgrade request ABAP has failed

Error from unit observer Tool died unexpectedly with FATAL ERROR: Output file

'E:\SUM\abap\log\RSGEN.DNW' is not yet scanned completely.

Some critical error might have occurred before.: The operation completed successfully.

The option restart not is working, show the error messages:

What lines I should comments in the file MEMSAPup.dat? to restart the stage.

Hi Pramod,

Please share the error message that you get when you open configtool and click on that place.

Also, latest configtool*.trc file.

Does sidadm has full rights to /usr/sap file system ?

Try this

Choose Start - File - Change System Template

Select from the option that you can.

Also do you have templates in

<SAP_install_dir>\<system_name>\<instance_name>\j2ee\configtool\templates

Hi Bhagyesh,

This is not a good idea for many reasons.

First of all, it will cause "data explosion". You probably need to use that value in calculations. I'd suggest better make calculations a little more complex than increase amount of data 10 times.

Second, it looks like you have 1 : N relationship between Profit Center and Cost center. Why then you have both as Dimensions in same Model? I'd suggest keeping just Cost Center in that Model and derive Profit Center when needed.

Hi Ram,

Can you please clarify "automatically"?

Do you want this to be done when data is loaded or run some script regularly or do you have some other option in mind?

You probably have some threshold in Time Dimension that if Credit is older than a particular time it should be moved to Liabilities. You can develop a script that with go through all Credits that are older than certain threshold post those values to Overdraft and make Credits = 0.

Please let us know if you need help developing such script.

with 1505 release, sections can be added to a page layout when using the HTML5 client. When I try to add fields to the section, no fields are listed to add.

Hi Nicky,

If you have Admin Audit turned on you should be able to see there when Env was created.

If you don't have it turned on you can check DB table RSDAREA. It has "last changed" time stamp, but since Env can be create only once this should be "created" time stamp as well.

Hi Joel,

Can you please let us know what data your external system expects from SAP?

Generally, we enhance the article master outbound IDoc (WP_PLU or WBBDLD) with out customer segment and put the article dimensions in the IDoc so that the external system is updated with same.

Alternatively, you can also use Layout & Layout Module where you can mention the dimension, positions, front facing quantity, maximum quantity etc. in Layout Module. You can build an interface to pass this information to external system using enhancement to populate the custom segment in outbound IDoc.

So, there can be ways to pass the data, but we should know what information your external system expects for its own processing for space management.

Are there any restrictions/limitations/filters on the Fiori App, Order from Reqs? i.e. Are only Standard Reqs and Orders allowed to be processed in this app? I keep getting the following errors when trying to process Manual Orders/Reqs:

Overall, it's been pretty frustrating trying to find basic knowledge about these Fiori Apps. I've looked through Notes, the Fiori Apps Library, Discussions, Blogs, and Technical Documentation.

Hi,

My client wants to have SSO between Windows AD account (used for login in Desktop) and CRM WebUI.

Client uses SAP CRM 7.0 EHP3 and does not have any AS JAVA system in landscape.

I have read old wiki and blogs which mentions to achieve SSO to CRM WebUI via SAP GUI for Windows SNC feature.

However, client does not login in SAPgui.

Client directly opens CRM_UI with link of format

http://hostname:port/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_start/default.htm

As we are having latest CRM version, is there a better way to configure SSO between Windows AD (LDAP) and CRM WebUI?

Dear Karolina:

Wich version of SUM are you ussing? i recomend you the 1.0 SP13

on sybase please constantly reviewthe file SID.log on the directory /sybase/MEP/ASE-15_0/install

this log file show if the database needs more locks, memory , open partitions, etc.

Try to check on the SE11 the table if exist on the database and if you can adjust.

1. Check whether the client is going to implement SAP HANA along with SAP EM.

2. If you connect SAP EM with SAP HANA through SLT, the real time data will be available for client.

3. The real time queries and reporting can be directed and handled by SAP HANA.

4. Need to have good road map for Big Database.

Hi Leon,

Afraid I don't have answer for that.

But I am wondering why you need to do this recalculation.

So far from my observation this will happen when a screen re-sizes (No Font Size changed by user)

1. Static, Edit, Combo, Link Button, Button

Size will not change. Mostly there is no need to handle the re-sizing.

Position will change if the items are on the second half of the horizontal screen, they will be anchored to the right.

If the items are on the lower part of the screen they will be anchored to the bottom.

Mostly there is no need to re-position.

2. Matrix, Grid

Position will follow as above.

Size will change accordingly to form size, Usually there will be no need to handle re-positioning and re-sizing. unless you have multiple matrixes on 1 panlevel.

Column re-sizing usually will only need to call the auto column width method.

3. Rectangle/Box.

Position does not change, size does not change. This always nees to re-size. Position wise, no need to re-position.

When the user change the Font Size, you will need to re-size the Static, Edit, Combo, Button.

But you need to do this only when the form is opened.

1 very important thing to note here is: when you design your form design it as small as possible.

I am trying to create a BEx query in HANA Studio. However, i am getting following error. Not sure where am i doing wrong. Error occurs after i select an infoprovider and click on finish. I get this message when it is trying to create query element: Persisting. I appreciate your help.
