Hi Everyone,
We are using SAP Design studio 1.4 version.
We have Hierarchy enabled cost element, we want to show each level of hierarchy in separate chart.
I am able to achieve this using Analysis for Microsoft excel as datasource for each level of hierarchy. ( Different Data source for each level).
This is impacting the performance, can someone provide me an idea to show chart for each level of hierarchy using single datasource.
I dint find any hierarchy node filter in Available functions.
Thanks,
Jaya
Hello SureshKumar,
Here's a quick way to answer your question in the PDM:
1. Connect your database, go in the "database" menu then click on "Connect...", choose the database to connect. If not defined, define first your connection.
2. When connected, right-click on the table you want to know the number of rows and select "update statistics":
3. When done, you can see the number of rows in the field "number" (in this case 16,044 rows):
I hope this helped you.
Kr,
Thierry
It contains an array you did for me. See Load and Print below.
LOAD OPS
Shared stringVar JobOps;
Shared stringvar temp;
If {JobOperations.jmoProcessID} <> '' and {JobOperations.jmoProductionComplete} = 0 AND
Instr(temp,totext({JobOperations.jmoJobOperationID},0) & "-" &{JobOperations.jmoProcessID}) = 0 then
(
temp := temp + totext({JobOperations.jmoJobOperationID},0) & "-" &{JobOperations.jmoProcessID} + ', ';
JobOps := JobOps + {JobOperations.jmoProcessID} + ' ';
)
;
' ';
PRINT OPS
Shared stringVar JobOps;
If Instr(JobOps,', ') > 0 then
Left(JobOps, Len(JobOps)-2)
else
JobOps + " "
In pd 13 they used T-Code FB01 and then in period pd 14 & 15 T-code FB50.
The value specified for ODBCINI variable is ODBC.ini
If you have the file in lower-case (odbc.ini) this might create a problem since UNIX is case sensitive.
Hi Jim ,
Q1 : This is not Normal . Your sesion should not be interupted , Nor any locks in the system
Check whether you have set the following
DB Reconnect Parameters - SAP High Availability - SAP Library
Check the value of rdisp/gui_auto_logout parameter in SAP
Q2 . No disruption should happen incase of a failover . [ It all depends on how well you have implemented ERS ]
Thanks ,
Manu
Hello Jaya,
so far you would not be able to do this with a single source in Design Studio.
Also keep in mind that the charts in Design Studio don't really provide a drill down functionality.

Hi,
I have a doubt in the PF calculation part.
I will take 2 cases here:
1) LOP case
2) Mid month resigned.
1) LOP: Suppose the employee Basic salary:23000 and if there are 13 LOP's in Jan Month.Then accordingly his basic is calculating as 13354 for 18 days based on this the system is calculating 1603 as PF deduction which is directly 12% on employee actual basic that is 13354.
2) Mid Month Resigned: Now suppose if we take the same above example in a different way that is if the employee is resigned on 19th of Jan then he should get the salary for 18 days that is 23000 should be prorated and should be reduced to 13354 which is for 18 day's.Now in this if we apply 12% on this we should get the same value which is 1603 as PF.
But for me in this case i am getting the value as 1045.here the system is prorating the based on the PF Limit amount. i.e: As the employee's current basic is 23000 so the system is fix the basic as 15000 fix and in this it is calculating 12%which is 1800. Now in this 1800 the system is prorating the PF amount to 18 day's and giving the value as 1045.
I just want to know when in both the case's the basic is same then why the PF is calculated in 2 different ways and is this kind of calculation is correct in the stranded system.Will proration takes place in terms of resigned case's.
Please give me clarification on this.

T Jyotesh Kumar.
Hello Kiran,
Issue has been discussed in below threads,assume you have referred,if not check

I verified the database with the report but to no avail.
You'll find attached the report which throws the error for you to run it through your Test Application.
I will try to narrow the problem down by removing elements as you suggested.
thx

Suresh,
You need to use business function: LOG_EAM_OLC
for that use t-code SFW5.
also make sure that you have this component in your system environment
SAP_APPL 605
EA-APPL 605
Br,
Shri
Thanks all for your assistance.
I debugged the standard FM and found the table where these mappings from SRM to PI are stored. It is stored in the table /sapsrm/map_cfg.
I still have a problem. There is field called SRC_OBJECT_ID in source. This field has been assigned value as well. But PI is not picking up this value. Any thoughts on inputs?
Ricardo,

Well, we have sent our certificate to the service provider and they have added it to their list of trusted certificates. Isn't that what it needs?
Hi every one
Re: object texts having history of changes, while I agree partly with Vivek that in most cases, it is possibly to have in some cases as below:
a)PD objects - infotype HRP1000 - It is possible to see the different texts e.g., OU description delimited as of a date after go-live. This is configured in T77S0 with PLOGI TEXTO
For job it is PLOGI TEXTC, for position PLOGI TEXT S
With PLOGI SPLIT X, it is also possible to delimit IT 1 when say for example Org unit desc is changed in PD; and by running RHINTE30 this creates a BDC session to split IT 1 for the relevant pers.no's.

Hi,
Issue is solved.
I downloaded SUM 12 PATCH 14 and this note does not show up.

Hi John
For VS 2010 and later you want to be using the Assemblies from SAP Crystal Reports, Developer Version for Visual Studio .NET. These should have a version of 13.0.2000, so yes we don't want version 12 referenced at all. Best thing to do may be to just delete the viewer from the page it is on and read one of version 13.
