Not sure if it will help but you can try to trace user session as described in Tracing Single User Sessions. May be it shed light on the problem.

Re: Does anyone know the HANA equivalent of the following SQL statement?
The intention was, if the record exists, get the values in the record. If not, default to certain values. This used to be achieved by one SQL statement, and no other .net code needed. I reduced number of fields to just A and B, in reality there are 10 of them. If I had to default the values in .net code prior to executing the SQL statement, it will take more lines to code than this. It is doable of course, just wondering if there is an equivalent, hence the question.
Issue with calculation of Marks (Grades/Base value)
Hi Team,
Taking this further, we did put the requisite base values. The scenarios that we have worked on are:
Scenario 1:
Total: 100
Written: 60
Sessional: 40
- Passing marks out of 100= 40
- Passing marks out of 60=20
- Passing marks out of 40=10
So accordingly we have put the base value using the excel sheet by SAP and have maintained base value as follows: (system base value = 70000)
Scale 100 Base Value= 40000
Scale 60 Base Value= 55000
Scale 40 Base Value= 60000
Output:
- Calculation of marks is not happening properly
- Pass/ Fail indicator of Written and Sessional is shown properly.
Scenario 2: (marks same as above)
Here we are not putting the base values
Output:
- Calculation of marks is proper
- Pass/Fail is not happening properly
We are now stuck with this problem. So as standard will this work or we need to apply any rules to get the required result??
In scenarios where we needed conversion from Quantity to Quality scale is working fine as you had explained in the earlier message.
Regards
Nivedita and Ramesh.

Re: Creation of Talent Group
Hi Kah,
The Talent Group application is in the Portal in the Talent Management Specialist role.
You can also call it from transaction SICF by right-clicking hrtmc_talent_group and clicking Test (in path default_host/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/). Also ensure that the service is activated, along with the other services (they should be if you are already using the Talent Search). See the document Services to activate in the Internet Communication Framework (SICF) for details.
Once you are in the application just use the New button to create a new Talent Group. Remember that only the creator can access a Talent Group unless you assign other users as part of the Support Team. Other users can still assign individuals to Talent Groups for which they are not part of the Support Team.
Best regards,
Luke

Re: Naming convention on Company code
Hi,
As indicated by Venkat you can use any naming convention you want.
The basic thumb rules would be for how you can ideally name them :
- Logical and be easily deciphered even if they are just appearing as codes without the text;
- Consistent across the globe if it is a global enterprise;
- Matching / Similar to Sales Org, Purchasing Org and Plants for at least two letters of the code;
- Alphanumeric Characters would be more advisable.
Have seen various ways they are addressed.
Bottom line is that, there are no real rules for this.
Hope this helps.

Re: Target cost version not intendet for variance calculation - Error KV177
Thank you,
the problem was that on the screen with General Version Overview (t-code okeqn) the checkbox in the Variance column and the version 1 line was marked. However when I selected the line with the version 1 and double clicked the Controlling Area Settings the checkbox for variance was inside not marked. A strange inconsistency. Marking the Checkbox solved the Problem.
Thank you!

Re: Transport request error
Hi,
Please attach the transport logs as per Rishi's response, also check the system log (SM21) from the time of the import failure. The logs will tell us more about exactly what cuased the import to fail.

Re: SAP New G/L - Result analysis posting rules IFRS & Local Gaap

Maybe the solution we implemented can help someone:
We created accounting principle for IFRS and Local Gaap and are able to post at least in FI to both ledgers in parrallel for the full values, (not posting only delta)

Hi Raj,
Are you sure ? about the 2nd statement"Red - Error - Will not allow you to save the document / further processing"

Please clarify.

Re: MRP TYPE
ok thanks
Re: multi level method
Bhatia, you are right.
My answer was for the specific case of italy where depreciation pourcentage is dependent on assete class. in this case you have to create 1 DK/MLM for each asset class.
Your solution is better if you use common purcentages for several asset classes
Thank you
