We will design the py areas based on the client pay structure, check with your requirement & based on that you can design but it is not mandatory to take each py for each esubgroup, it's all depend on pay date & grade level pay.

Not advisable to delete any storage locations from live system where that particular storage locations must have historical transaction data for your materials. Can please give some more business background why you want to delete storage location?
Better you can block movement of materials to particular storage locations or by .authorization you can block movement of material to particular storage locations!

As long as the transport directory is mounted and readable from both sides you should not have an issue. In the worst case scenario you will have to copy the transport cofile and datafile manually but I cannot see that happening.

Alternate Labelling issue
Dear Friends,
My Structure Indicator is XX-XXXXX-XXXX

So previously my client created 4 characters in 2nd level.
Now if i change using alternate labelling in 2nd level, what will be the result in 3rd level.
Eg:
Previously : XX-PROD -XXXX
If i change PROD to PROD1 then wat will be the effect.

Thanks for your inputs. We are also trying to keep the solution as standard as possible with less customizations or ABAP developments. But we are having few concerns which needs to be addressed:
- As per the std process, when we are in In Dev with Release, we can create TOC, release and import of TOC to QA system through tasklist.
- Once succcessfully tested in QA and status changed to "Successfully Tested", the original TR is released and this can be imported to QA without changing the phase of project to TEST
- This means @ In Dev with release phase, ToC and Original TR are getting imported. So we need to ask Basis team or IT operator twice for import into QA. To avoid this we were looking at options for auto import of ToC to QA system
Another question is how do i ensure that only certain actions are allowed in certain phase of the project. For Ex: in my above scenario i want original TR to be imported only when the phase is TEST.
Can this be achieved through standard process.

1.Is it mean the time for which material is with Quality ?
