1. Is there any effect from this Restart step to Plan Date Calculation ?
2. What is the difference of "Restart" and "Start in Cycle" ?
3. Is it possible if we try to "Restart" to correct plan date ?

why we should not restart messages(in SXMB_MONI) in Production server ?

If it is data quality - i.e. have some special char/ invalid data etc then reprocessing may not help as they would fail again.
If it is connectivity issues - JCo failure.. temp cache issues.. mapping failures due to to a developer's mistake then we would reprocess them. (ofcourse you can cancel them get them republished from sender too)

Hi Ada, by de-initialize you do mean deleting the PA's time series objects (which I did) and create the TSO's again. This didn't change the internal factors and there was only a single version attached to the PA.
An example. If I add demand into June in Demand planning and transfer this to ECC with the split profile, the first demand appears in ECC on the 26.05.2014. Although small, it creates confusion. I do understand that June 1 is in week 22, which is the same week that 26 May is in and this is the reason the demand appears.
If you then try and compare the monthly time buckets in ECC with DP there is a variance because of this.
What we're trying to achieve is the first demand for this month should be on 3rd June (2nd is a public holiday for us) and all of the demand to be split into weeks 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27 according to the work days in each of these weeks, not the calendar days. So if our demand was 20, it would split 4, 5, 5, 5, 1.
To may sure I understand correctly:
Internal factors are used to calculate the disagregation in DP. So if you use a data view in weeks to transfer the forecast it calculates on the internal factors which we can't change.
The period split attached to the transfer profile and is driven from what is set up in the period split and distribution function. This is not influenced by the internal factors.

What is the platform you compiled in and the platform of the SAPbobsCOM you referenced ?
Does this server has x86 client and x64 client both installed ?

only info package do re-intilization form missing data.
create or select your info package -> go to scheduler menu-> select the initialization form source system -> give the ranges in date fields.
already you deleted the in PSA also. no other way and one more time extract form source.

You will need two separate installer for this.
one is for the 32bit (having the platform marked as 'N')
- Addon compiled as 32 bit
- Reference the SAPbobsCOM of 32 bit
another for 64 bit (having the platform marked as 'X')
- Addon compiled as 64 bit
- Reference the SAPbobsCOM of 64 bit
Once you have both installer,
Register both in the server.
Go to each of the pc and install. SBO will pick the correct version (x86/x64)

Already the sales document and the subsequent delivery document has been assigned with FD no. Actually there is no open delivery for this customer, even though it showing some amount say 46688.18 in both FD33 & VX13. When I run the Program RVKRED77 and RVKRED88, in FD33, the sales value has been changed to "Zero". But in VX13 the amount assigned for delivery is still showing 46688.18.
Please let me know whether we have any correction program or any other notes which can be applied to fix the system inconsistency. My package is 604, when I checked for notes i found this "1559138".

If you use IDoc as your target message, you no longer need to export the IDoc structure, modify it and import back the XSD. You can just change the occurences in the Signature tab of Message Mapping.

I created smart Data Access setup with Sybase IQ in SAP HANA , all working fine .
Now , I have following questions
Let us assume the following :
userA -->Remote source owner
userB --> Have permission to create vitual tables and use virtual tables created by UserA.
DataSource --> Sybase
virtual table created by A --> vtableA
virtual table created by B --> vtableB
Sybase IQ user --> iquser
From my point of view HANA user is typical application user , that creates ODBC connection to remote source coonected to HANA
to my knowledge this is the workflow of the SDA
1. From which user HANA creates ODBC connection with Sybase IQ when UserA executes queries in vtableA
2.. From which user HANA creates ODBC connection with Sybase IQ when UserB executes queries in vtableA
3. From which user HANA creates ODBC connection with Sybase IQ when UserA executes queries in vtableB
4. From which user HANA creates ODBC connection with Sybase IQ when UserB executes queries in vtable B
5. Is there trace file that track ODBC connections in SAP HANA ?
6. Is there any recommended way to Manage SDA from security perspective ?
Please correct me in case if my assumtions are wrong !

as stated by Mr Jogesh, check Functional Location BOM, apart from that also check if you have any CONSTRUCTION TYPE added in the Functional Location under structure tab
A BOM material which was created in CS01 can be added here so that system will retrieve the structure of BOM into Functional Location
please check both options and revert with your findings

I am using EHP1 for NW 7.3 and deployed SAP MII 14.0.This was working fine.
Recently I have configured ADS SSO. My single sign on is working fine but unfortunately my MII menu page is throwing error as below:
"500 Internal server error"
Log:
"Exception occured during processing of Web Dynpro application sap.com/xapps~xmii~ui~admin~navigation/NavigationApplication"
Can you please suggest me a solution?
