Hi Frazer,

 

In such case

You will have 2 plans:

1st one will be a Strategy plan with unit WEEK as discussed above (without 10 week package) and the

2nd one will be a single cycle plan with 10 weeks frequency.

Start-of Cycle Dates should be matched.

And then

You need to take help of user-exit IPRM0002 , the logic written there will be skipping the 9 week trigger.

 

The other option

Can be having a 3 different Single Cycle plans with Cycle periods 3 week, 6 week and 10 weeks with 3 different task lists.

Hi Kannan,

Thanks for the information.  I'm still learning more about SAT and those links are helpful.  I see SAT can be used to compare traces, however, my question was more about how to plan and model the correction that I propose to make without making a separate program to analyze comparatively, or without making changes to the existing FM.

 

I think I want to replace the use of BSEG in the FM with BSID, but I want to "speed test" the use of BSID in a similar select in our PRD environemnt, without having to transport changes.  I might find, for instance, that BSID doesn't really improve things.

 

What I've done so far, is create a quick viewer of a select of BSEG and another with BSID and compare them using SAT or ST05.  I was just wondering if there is another tool that is more dynamic and allows the use of custom coding.

Thanks for your inputs .I agree with what you have suggested .

 

But the catch is once the maintenance plan 1 , has done 3 weeks , 6 weeks and (enhancement helped us to skip the 9 weekly cycle ) .

 

We want the next 3 week cycle to start , 3 weeks after the 10 week .

That is , 10 week + 3 week = 13th week .

 

But as per std SAP , the next cycle will be 3 weeks , 6 weeks , ( 9 week skip ) and 12 week .

 

We dont want 12 week cycle , we want to see 13 week cycle and 16 week cycle after week 10 .

Hi,

 

I might be wrong, but an Alternative Key is not a Primary Key (as per its name...). The PK is not exposed for us. If you set 2 or more Alternative Keys, it won't work like a Compound PK.

 

As I said, I am not 100% sure about what I am saying, and would be great to have some more experts here to talk about.

Hi Carina

 

I've had a similar problem.  I could run the non R algorithms, but when running R PA would start and then crash just as you have described.  I solved the issue by:

 

1.  Edited the PC registry by searching for R-3 and deleting all keys etc that related to R.

2.  Remove all environmental variables that referenced R such as the path variable.

3.  Deleted all R content from my all my hard drives.

4.  Re-booted my PC.

5.  Installed and configured R via Predictive Analysis.

 

I was able to run R algorithms after this.

Ok thanks all, i've figured out the correct way to do this. In our scenario, the standard description field is hidden on Project, but not hidden on project template, so I was wondering how project template description flow to MA. In fact, the standard description field on project is holding project template dscription all the time though hidden. I am able to empty that field either through Project Validated script or Project Duplicated script. In this way, when creating MA from project, MA carries over empty description from project, this is what we want.  Thanks guys for your help.

 

My question still valid: doc.setDocumentDescription("") or doc.setDisplayName("") don't work on MA created or MA duplicated when creating MA from a project. How can we get this to work? We also have requirement that

When creating MA from project, MA should not automatically carry over Project Name. If doc.setDisplayName("") don't work on MA created or MA duplicated when creating MA from project, how can i achieve this?

changing the maxhttpheadersize and then restarting tomcat as outlined in the post above fixed this issue for our users.

The transaction types in the device is configured in the following SPRO Path : CRM -> SAP Retail Execution (Mob App) -> Visits -> Map CRM Activities to Retail Execution Visits and Activities.

I have tried with different conditions. But not able to enforce landed cost for GRPO.

 

My conclusion is:

 

1. Not possible to enforce landed cost

 

2. It depends on nature of business process. It is not necessary all GRPO need landed cost posting

 

3. It may be enforced by user training.

Hi,

 

if you want to use the personnel number check (authorization object:

P_PERNR) you have to activate it via transaction OOAC. In case

you want to achieve that one user can only maintain his own personnel

number we would recommend not to use P_ORGIN in the authorization

profile, but only P_PERNR. You can assign all infotypes that are

necessary via P_PERNR in the authorization profile. But

please activate 'P_PERNR' AND 'P_ORGIN' via transaction OOAC as

described in the attached note 362675.

 

 

Additionally, if you have IT0316 & IT328 defined, you might want to

consider just using IT0316.

IT0316 represents the authorization for data entry profiles and

depends on the profile setting. If a user has authorization for

IT0316 and for a specific profile authorization group (subtype of

infotype 0316) that has profiles not requiring approval assigned to it

the user can approve the data, even if he/she does not have

authorization for infotype 0328.

 

The good news is that this behaviour can be controlled on the infoset level by activating the corresponding switch "PROC_PERNR_PARTIAL_AUT" in the DATA section of the infoset code. Once this switch is set to "X", ad hoc query will always process all PERNR records and leave blanks where the user doesn't have authorization.


Note that this only works for PNP and PNPCE database.

 

 

For example:

I have developed many roles with auth object P_ORGIN. I need to develop a new role with NEW auth object Z_XXXXX. Transactions PA20,PA30, PA51 and PA61 are required in all roles to maintain HR Master data.

I found a conflict between P_ORGIN and Z_XXXXX:

=> When I assign Z_XXXXX auth object to new role. The new roles checks only to P_ORGIN values to assess the restrictions.

I don't want to assign Z_XXXXX to transactions PA20,PA30, PA51 and PA61 because I would force my previously created roles to check for this new object.

I created new auth object, because I need restrictions based on personnel subarea,

Hi frds,

 

Please find me out of it.

I have made field the mandatory from view configuration. but there are cartian screen where user can move without filling those mandaory field.

current when user try to move other screen, system block it to fill all mandatory field.

how can i remove it at run time.

Hope you are doing refurbishment from one valuation category material (Defective) to another valuation category material (Refurbish)

 

As per your screen shot, both GI of defective material as well as GR of refurbish material are affecting same G/L. So, system is adjusting that & showing in single row. GI is happening with 171 to G/L 40000400 as well as GR is affecting the same G/L with value of 5. So, its showing 166 as cumulative value.

 

For refurbishment process, split valuation will be activated by having different valuation class with different G/L. Then you can get the cost tab as shown below as well as as per your expectation.

Discuss with your MM & FICO consultant to define the different valuation class with different G/L in OBYC settings.

Hi Guys,

 

I'm new to this and I'm trying to find out, how I can create a filter for a "Subsystem Grouping" based on Work Centers.

 

I've already assigned a subsystem group to all work center belong to a single plant.


I'm trying to setup the distribution model to send IDOCs to an external system

 

I've added a BAPI with details as follows:

 

Model Name:                  XXXXX_LS

 

Sender:                          XXXXX

Receiver:                        XXXXXX  

 

Obj. Name / Interface:     RCVPRORDCF

Method:                          ReceiveProdOrder

 

I've also assigned all Work center from 1 plant into the same Subsystem Group in CR02 ->Subsystem Link -> Subsystem Group = 301

 

How can I create a filter to filter by the subsystem group for the work center, to download only those production orders based on this?

 

Or, is there another way that I can filter by plant?
