Hello Experts,
I am working on data collection and have created a DC Group with necessary parameters as Boolean (Yes / No values).
As per the business needs, I may have to collect values only for part of the parameters and save them and come back again for further edit / collection.
But as of now, system does not allow me to save data for only part of the parameters.
Is there any way that I can achieve this? Or is there any way that the parameter fields can be be per-populated with a certain value?
Thanks in advance.
Srinivas

Hi gurus,
I added some custom fields to append structure in maratable. I have updated the fields with new records. Now i want to see the details in mm03
Custom field values. How can I view the custom fields?
regards,
suneel.
Hi Jeff,
I have had the same requirement at a client of mine.
There was nothing in standard B1 that could achieve this so a custom development was made, using the SDK I assume.
I did make an "Idea" about this on https://ideas.sap.com/, maybe vote for it so we can get heard!
Kind Regards,
Nick Lakasas
Hi Daniel,
Thanks.
I am sending an aggregation event ( PACK) with delivery doc ( DOCUMENT_NO) from AII Test Tool with below Biz tarnsactionList section in the event msg.
I am passing business step -Packing which is mapped to internal event code PACK
<bizTransactionList>
<bizTransaction type="urn:sap:oer:btt:odlv">urn:sap:oer:bti:odlv:0037000.0080016839</bizTransaction>
</bizTransactionList>
I am getting below error at OER proxy end (sxmb_moni).
Error during proxy processing An exception with the type /SAPTRX/CX_VALIDATION_EX1 occurred, but was neither handled locally, nor declared in a RAISING clause Application Error
Any reason for this kind error. what is missing from config prospective?
I did not do any changes to existing standard config for PACK internal event code. Only config change done from my side was adding external document to internal doc mapping . I have used external type odlv--> internal type odlv
Any other changes needs to be done. Could you please share the config doc for this scenario?

Hello.
I don't think there is any limitation.
If the background job is getting cancelled midway?
What does SM37 status show for that job?

Hello all,
A customer of us will display article images in article master (transaction MM41/42/43)
The images are stored on application server; on application server we defined logical paths such as:
Z_RETAILBILD_BIG /RETAILBILDER/JPG_big/
Z_RETAILBILD_SMALL /RETAILBILDER/JPG_small/
The images are stored properly (I checked by transaction AL11)
In the customizing I’ll set the server paths for small and big images on:
Logistics - General --> Material Master --> Retail-Specific Settings --> Settings for Screen Data Display --> Edit
But the images will not be displayed; a message indicates that the file cannot be displayed such as
The system could not display the image with the URL / /RETAILBILDER/JPG_big/7610026016751.jpg
Do you have any idea how to set the correct path in customizing to access to application server?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best rgeards,
Kurt
Venkatramesh,

Can you post your code?
Regards.

Hi Premsagar,
Good Day!
If you have Basic knowledge about Java, I request you to complete Advance Java. After completing that, if you are interested in SAP PI, you can study in SAP Labs and try for Job. I work in SAP PI module and it is very interesting. SAP PI is the middle ware and definitely I can guarantee you that you will like the module very much. There are many modules are there in SAP. If you want to select any module, you need to think and you will become confused. Before joining any course, I request you to contact SAP Labs training center and check whichever is module is hot in the market which will help you to join soon. Thanks.

Hi Brian O'Neill,
As you must be knowing in the latest release of SAP Mobile Platform (SMP 3.0, which is still in Ramp up process), we have different technologies like SUP, Syclo Agentry, Sybase Mobilizer altogether and each implemented their own integration framework and that each came with its own capabilities and purposes.
Here SMP3 introduces a much simplified and unified approach to backend integration: relying on the OData protocol.
SAP NW: provides the direct OData connectivity to SAP backends
Integration Gateway (IGW): basically it is a service that runs withing SAP Mobile Platform server.
provides additional integration to 3rd party systems using protocols such as SOAP, JDBC, JPA and more. To build the services, the Gateway Productivity Accelerator includes the Eclipse based toolkit for IGW, used for modeling and generating components that are deployed through IGW.
Please check this document for more understanding:

You can get GWPA components from here:

Hi,
Initialization event gets triggered before the system recognizes the values of variables on the selection screen. Since values passed to s_matnr is not recognized in initalization, event, it is fetching all the materials.
Dump is coming because system has some limitations with regards to number of entries while fetching data from database.

DPM

I am looking for ideas and recommendations on SAP WM offline tracking and catch-up procedures. These procedures would also be the disaster recovery plan in a situation where SAP is unavailable and the business must continue to run.
Prior to our next Go-Live, previously deployed businesses must take some downtime/SAP offline time while the cookbook of transport requests is moved to production and we shake out the system. Because of this offline time, and in case something goes awry and we are down for a longer period, we need to have tracking procedures in place and a plan to catch up all the movements in SAP.
Has anyone created a WM offline procedure in the past? How did you track all the warehouse movements? How did you "catch them up" when SAP was back online?
Hi Gagandeep,
Good Day!
I suggest you to do both! If I am there in your situation. I will join "MBA" Correspondence and continue working in SAP PI. During weekends you need to attend the class. If you joined distance education then I suggest you to go for weekend training in training institute which will help you to complete MBA and you will also get good experience in SAP PI simultaneously. I request you to think about this suggestion. If I am there in your situation. I am 100% sure that I will do both of them. I am not ready to waste my career and simply wasting two years. If you don't have Job, then I would have suggest you to go for MBA. Already you have good job and that's also in SAP PI. Thats why I suggest you to do both of them. All the best for your career growth, SAP PI (My favorite module) & MBA.

Hi,
If you have created new tax procedure, then you have to assign the tax procedure to the country in OBBG transaction. One country can have only one tax procedure.
Once its assigned to country, create tax code in FTXP. Maintain the condition records in FV11 for the required condition types for each tax code and test the scenario.

AKPT
