Planning Buckets = Storage Buckets ?
Dear DP Experts,
I can probably test this quickly but I am on the road and need some answers based on your experience. While I ask the questions below, I am aware that SAP provided this option of "set storage buckets" in SDP94, to view the planning data is storage buckets but that is just for viewing the planned numbers!
Q1: Is it possible to create a Planning Bucket Profile that is EXACTLY same as Storage buckets based on storage bucket profile I defined?. Using FYV in planning bucket profile ? PS: My present storage bucket profile itself does not have posting period checked. Its is checked for week, month, quarter and year.
Q2: If so, what special settings need to be done in the fiscal year variant that I will need to create. Year dependent ?. Year independent ? Special periods ? time shifts etc
Q3: If I am using a data view with such a planning bucket profile (same as storage buckets) what precautions should I take ?. esp. Macros in FG and BG ?. I presume this depends on type of macros but a generic answer would help.
Q4: What is the technical difference between the field "fiscal year variant" in storage bucket profile and the fields FYV1 and FYV2 in time bucket profile. Are they internally same?. PS: I am sensitized to this hep documentation where SAP says In a planning buckets profile, do not include a periodicity that is not in the storage buckets profile.

I deleted three profile using T-Code RZ10, how could I retrieve?
Hi All,
I met a big trouble!
I accidentally deleted 3 profiles (DEFAULT, NSP_DEVBMGS00_MTDGAP02, START_DEVBMGS00_MTDGAP02) using RZ10, now my SAP Management Console couldn't start now.
How could I retrieve these 3 profiles? Thanks for help!

Anyway, regarding your issue, you can try making a test program that calls SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE and check if it will work, instead of just running it in SE38.
Please revert back with your codes if it still doesn't work.

For me there are 3 things that make OpenUI5 a good javascript libray for an existing enterprise backend developer to learn.
1. the ease in which you can consume data from a backend system via the OData Model - integrating with SAP is very complicated and hard to scale
2. there are a lot of controls which abstracts the need for you to know or care about the underlying HTML and DOM, controls provide a consistent look and feel and they are extensible meaning you can easily make them look and behave how you want
3, the application structure provided in the MVC paradigm, without this structure your applications will be hard to extend and support
These 3 concepts should be familar to an ABAP Webdynpro who wants to learn OpenUI5, for those developers I would say you shouldnt learn JQuery first you should try and avoid it initially. Focus on the structure of your application and use the OpenUI5 provided controls and global APIs as much as possible .
jQuery API's abstracts the HTML DOM, the OpenUI5 core library API's abstracts jQuery, OpenUI5 controls API abstract the OpenUI5 core libary.
eg
var oButton = sap.ui.getCore().byId('myButton');
var oButtonDom = oButton.getDomRef(); //>> equiv jQuery.sap.domById(this.getId()) >> equiv to jQuery('#' + id);

You just need to download, update the data in the excel spreadsheet, save and upload it to TM.

liveCache index for /SAPAPO/ORDKEY
I'm a little bit confused about the LC-related indices. Why can't we find the indices in SE11? I mean, after implementing the BAPI given from NOTE 749824-secondary index on table /SAPAPO/ORDKEY, there's no index can be seen from SE11 but LC10 -> Problem Analysis -> Logs -> Tables/views/Synonyms->index
Is such index which is related to table /SAPAPO/ORDKEY created in the memory but not MaxDB?
Anyone can explain this phenomenon?

The date in this field displays the last time the interest calculation program processed this account.
It is clear that the system did not include customer in question in interest calculation run.
Please check with interest indicator and interest cycle have been defined for this customer. Also check if there is any open item for the date range you are selecting. Usually Payment Term for the customer determines the due date.
Also if the same indicator is defined and calculating interest for other customers. If not then you need to check the item interest indicator is configured correctly.
Please check the configuration in the sequence as mentioned below
- Interest Calculation Types (OB46)
- Interest on Arrears Calculation (OB85)... select calendar type G, Open and Cleared Items
- Interest rate in Time-Based Terms (OB81) for your indicator to be used for interest calculation for this customer.
- OBV1 AND OBV3 are setup.
- Form is defined in OB84 that will reflect the interest piece in notification
Lets see if this works.

Hi JC,
Ideally, when the stock take is started, the inventory movement is blocked. The stock take process happens in following sequence.
- Stop the Inventory transactions including Sales after a day's inbound is posted.
- Start physical count of the stock from the store.
- Take the System Stock from SAP
- Compare the System Stock and Physical stock to find out the variance
- Post the variance in SAP.
- Unblock the inventory movements
You will find lots of threads and documents on SCN for SAP physical inventory cycle which is
- Generate PI (Physical Inventory) Document - MI01
- Perform count - MI04
- Post the Differences - MI07
If the store is continuing, it can be done in night time or do not take all items in one go, you can take half of the article in 1 go and rest of store can keep going and when part 1 is done you can take remaining articles. But the articles for which the physical inventory (stock-take) is going on, the inventory movements has to be blocked.

Its hard to say something concrete on your issue, you need to do some research first and provide more information.
after deploying par files in nwds 7.3 some of the jsp pages are getting jspparse exceptions.
providing that is by far not enough: did you tried to reduce the jsp source to find out what exactly is the problem? Where is the source of the jsp that brings you into trouble? What are "par files" and why you trying to deploy par on 7.3 at all? What is your environment?

Elkin,
Log onto Data Manager, navigate to tool bar and Click on Help --> Repository Info --> Role.
Suggest you to cross-check if you have Admin role assigned to your credentials. If Admin role is assigned then you should be able to export.
From the above screenshot i could see that role : Admin has active functions to export records in data manager (Hopefully screenshot is from Data Manager tree ).
As a work around, if you are in real hurry to export data, then u can export selected records through syndicator in a text format. Until we find a solution you can use this as n alternate option.

Thanks for your reply. According to my own knowledge, in a normal situation, the following pop-up window appears after choosing a connection. It should appear every single time when I log on to the model.
However, this pop-up window no longer appear. I can log on to the connecetion, for example as USER_1, automatically after choosing the connection. I have tried to log off and log on again but there is no pop-up window that asking me about user name and password. This makes me cannot switch from one user to another user.
What should I do to make the above logon screen reappear?
