Dashboard doesnt filter out the values of Dimension(B.Ex Char) by changing Other Dimension(B.Ex Char) values
Hi
I am in SAP BI 4.0 Sp7 with patch 5. I have built a dashboard using Dashboard designer based on B.Ex query as a source. I have Characteristics "Sales Organisation" "Customer" (both are compounded) and few Key figures.
I have created query prompt selectors for the both chars in Dashboard. Intially the report displays for all the Sales organisations and the Customers but when I change to a particular sales org , then I want to filter the Customers still I can see all Customers which I dont want. Below is an example
initial display:
| Sales Org | Customer |
| A | John A |
| B | John B |
| C | John C |
After restrcting Sales Org A
| Sales Org | Customer |
| A | John A |
| John B | |
| John C |
I dont want John B and John C should be seen in the box for the Sales Org A as they dont belong to it. In the B.Ex query the display option (Extended) is selected with posted values with navigation but still doent work.

Create a folder in Navigation Panel
Hi Gurus, I have created a role and assigned pages for that role in enterprise portal. I could able to see that role as a tab and pages in navigation panel.
But my requirement is in navigation panel , place a folder and all the pages in it. Please let me know how to achieve it ?

Create sales order through LSMW
Hi all,
Recently I have to do data migration and create sales order through LSMW.
I used the following standard Batch/Direct Input method.
Object 0090
Method 0000
Program RVINVB10
However, when I do the last step of LSMW "Start Direct Input Program"
Errors 'file " " is not open' occurs and the error screen is captured and attached.
I have no idea why this error occurs. It seems that the converted file in application server cannot read by program RVINVB10.
Please help me.

Re: GL account determination in cancellation is differ from GR
Go to OBYC, you can find the G/L account in PRD transaction event key with the respective valuation class.
If you are using MAP for material, it should not hit the PRD account at time of cancellation.

Item level represent the item details..
All information of item level is exists in item details.
Anyway, you can find an text field in item level on MIGO transaction.
But you can't have text field in MB1A/MB1C in item level.
It can be found in item details.

Hi,
To improve the performance in MB5S, you may check the following options:
1. Maintain maximum entries in selection. You may remove the "final delivery items also" indicator.
2. If you have huge data in EKKO table, you may archive old PO's which are not required.
If its still taking long time, run the report in background and take the output.
Also, May I know in which release you are?

Update custom field in IT0001 via SAP_PA
Hi,
We have added couple of custom fields in IT0001 in ECC. These fields are available in the IT0001 screen structure (HCMT_BSP_PA_US_R0001) in SAP_PA. The only problem is updating these fields back in SAP with the values entered on the form. Is there any additional configuration that I have missed to update IT0001 fields via SAP_PA.
I have confirmed following in the system:
1. Fields are not marked as Operation Exclusion
2. Switch for decoupled infotype is turned ON
