Full description

This view describes each allocated log segment and shows its current state and log position range, which is currently contained in this segment.

The following log segment states exist:

  • Formatting - The log segment is being formatted and not yet used.
  • Preallocated - The log segment has been preallocated, but never used.
  • Writing - The log segment is currently being written.
  • Closed - The log segment is closed, not backed up and is still required for restart.
  • Truncated - The log segment is not required for restart, but has not been backed up.
  • BackedUp - The log segment has been backed up, but is still required for restart.
  • Free - The log segment has been backed up, it is not required for restart and can be reused.

Hi,

 

The One thing HANA provides in CDS or AMDP views, which can be written on top of tables.

 

you can write Authorization, association , joins etc in that. I have seensome reports using it, it really works great.

Is Clarification GL required for Return lot posting FP09 ?

Hi Experts,

 

I would like to know how to handle following scenario

 

When we post returns using Return lot  FP09 transaction -  But i am trying to post without Clarification GL account  but system is throwing error saying Clarificaion account is required.

 

But the problem is Business is not in a position to give Clarification GLs for this return postings, is there any way to post without Clarification GL?

If will i try to post with Clarification GL what entries i have to pass for Return lot ,(now i am using Internal interim G Ls not using Main Bank GLs for Payments}

 

Any suggestions/inputs are greatly appreciated.

Remodelling cube: table /bic/fzic_** is not partitioned, can not load

Hi Experts,

 

I am trying remodelling option in 7.4, BW on Hana and able to add characteristic IO successfully(with data in Infocube).

 

Activated transformation and DTP, While triggering next load from DTP facing error:

 

Remodelling cube: table /bic/fzic_** is not partitioned, can not load

Error while determining the package dimension entries

No package dimension could be found for cube ZIC_**. Error: 18

 

after deleting data and loading again it is working fine.

 

is it normal or i missed any, Please suggest.

Difference in Ext. Amount in LC and Amount in LC in MB51

Hi

 

We found that there are some value mistakes after uploading the intial stock for a material. And we have tried to reverse the entries and finally the value is matching now in MB5B and MB52 as shown below

However, in MB51 the total of all receips and cancellations show difference in Ext. Amount in LC and Amount in LC fields

Please help to solve this issue.

Hi Aron;

 

  Sadly, nothing new to report on this endeavour as of late. The last update we received was the March 8, 2016 webinar outlining the "High Level PB Roadmap". FYI: PB Vision and Roadmap Webcasts

 

  What I would suggest - if you haven't already done so - is to register with Appeon & also review that presentation. That should give you a good idea where Appeon wants to take PB over the next 5 years. Registering, will also give you a front row seat to any new PB information released by Appeon as soon as they can.

SPS12 installation installs webide by default, your instructions are related to installing webide seperately on top of XSA.

 

Did any one successful using webide that got installed along with SPS12?

External amount is the amount that you enter together with the quantity.

If you just use MBST or MIGO > cancel material document then you do not enter any external amount, then SAP just valuates the movement with the moving average and seeing zero in external amount is just evidence that no external amount was entered.

Webdynpro Page builder expired error

Hello Experts,

 

I am currently working on EP 7.0. I am getting webdynpro pagebuilder expired error message while accessing nwa, system admin, content admin etc.

 

I have checked several threads on the same error  and tried the following.

 

1]tcwddispwda   set to 7200

2]Session.timeout set to -1

3]Jsession.cookiedomain set to NONE

4]Session expiration set to 16 hrs

5]Login ticket_lifetime set to 16 hrs  (same as session expiration as per note 842635).

6]Checked for pb application in nwa (Could not find expiration parameter here)

7]Checked page timeout value 15000 ms

 

But all my attempts have failed. Please let me know what more options can be tried.

PS: https is configured for access to portal.

Hi Vishnu,

 

thank you very much for your suggestion.

 

I see one problem with your solution for my scenario. In my case, I can only use one AOT per freight document, because there is only one FB type and one FO type.

 

So if I modiy FM of AOT Z_ODT30_TO this will affect all FB's since there is only one AOT and so there is also only one EH Type.

 

 

What I need is:

 

-> When FB with EXW is created create EE Profile 1:

-> For all other FB's take EE Profile 2.

 

That's why I came up with the idea to create two EH Types for FB's

 

One with a condition: AOT=Z_ODT30_TO and Incoterm=EXW

and another condition which says: AOT_Z_ODT30_TO

 

and for each EH Type I could create an EE Profile (one for FB's with EXW and one for the remaining FB's)

 

As I said in my first post, I'm still a rookie in this field and I've not much ABAP knowledge. That's why I came up with the idea using Conditions for EH, since this worked very well as described by Gopi and Kevin. But if you still suggest to modify FM for AOT for my scenario, I will talk to our Developer, he will support me with any modification.

Martin,

 

When you say a BSP service, I think you mean a generic service created in Tcode SICF.

 

So with such a SICF service, you do not have any rules on the request body or request URL, or request methods. But OData puts constraints on each of these and more. So OData is a standardisation layer. Any standardisation comes with its own set of advantages and disadvantages.
