Thanks...but again...cannot change the feeder as it is used "generically" among many applications. I have made a slight modification to it in that I do assign "technical" fields to "form" fields based on some information that is available. I can "catch"/"listen" in my own "outside"/external class for the FPM instance and respond to events there (which is how I can manipulate the "technical" field values which then trigger the right behavior in the form fields). However, I can't find a "handle" to the button(s) themselves in a similar way. I have an idea of something else to try and will report back if it is successful.

I think what you want is some Material Design sort of approach when dealing with Lists.. thou you can achieve thru custom development, the next question is: what else will be Material Design?
UI5 is built to follow what SAP called Fiori which has its own UI Guidelines.. - maybe if you need Material Design you should opt for something else like Angular or Polymer.

I am assuming that your static list is just a subset of the list of years that DS_1 has, and instead of displaying the whole list from DS_1 you want to restrict the dropdown to just show the list of values from the static list.
to do this, you can restrict the DS_1 with your static list.
for ex: DS_1 has a dimension "0YEAR" which has list of values like [2000, 2001, 2002..2030]
and your static list has values [2005, 2006..2015] and instead of displaying all the 30 values in the drop down box you have to display the 10 values from the static list.
apply a filter on the DS1
DS1.setFilterExt("0YEAR",["2005,"2006",.."2015"]);

How To - Export Info Stewards objects
Is there a tool, process within Info. Steward that would export all the Data Insight objects including the Profile Tasks (that I believe reside in DS) out - so that they can be re-imported back in...
We need to rebuild the IS, DS landscape. and am looking to export the Business Validation rules, Views, Profile tasks etc.

Hello Chie,
When we have done this, we load the inventory value for all materials into SAP as the Std cost, then load the inventory quantities. This way there should be no revaluation at go live.
Then execute your costing runs to calculate the new standards. Now the revaluation is tracked in SAP and available for analysis.
We also used a Tax or Commercial price field on Accounting 2 to hold the "legacy" inventory price, so it is available for easy reference.
Also, if you want the legacy value to be the released standard, set your costing variant to read the Future Price on Acct 1 as the first source of standard and release it as the standard.
How you approach depends on what your company wants to accomplish and how the standards will be calculated in a go forward process.
