PDF Password Protected Files
DMS Gurus,
I'm running ECC 6.0 Base (no EHP's applied) and have DMS running. Occasionally, a user will upload to the Content Server a PDF file that contains protections. In this file, the Document Open Password is set to a value of "No" as is indicated in the PDF's Security tab shown below.
I have successfully uploaded this file to the content server and saved it via CV01N. When I retrieve it through CV03N (as a display only command), I get the infamous popup window that asks for a password to be entered.
If the intent is to only view this PDF, I would think that having CV03N open the document would be fine considering there is no password for viewing the document. I can understand if I was invoking the file using CV02N and using a change mode to pull up the file, but not the CV03N t-code using the display icon.
Is there anything out there that I need to apply to correct this so my users can view password protected (for opening files) for PDF files? I'm not aware of any SAP Notes discussing this scenario.
Any comments would be appreciated...

You should get results in SQL editor. Double-click on the result, under the column "Definition" (it may be something like "Procedure Definition").
If a pop-up tells you that you must have LOB Zoom enabled, you can find this by clicking on "Window --> Preferences" in the top of your screen, and then in the list on the left-hand side, clicking on "Administration Console", then "Result", and then on the screen on the right, the bottom checkbox "Enable zoom of LOB columns".
Have a look through other setting there as well - many are quite useful.

Hope you would have delete the files from the EPS/in directory and SUM tool also . Uncared and start it again. Do you see any other log file update in the sum tool dir.

In SU01 - does the profiles tab contain the corresponding generated profile for the role that you did user compare for?
For tables - you can look at the AGR_USERS (for role - ensure the assignments are within validity date); USR04 will have an entry for the user with all profiles assigned; AGR_1016 will give your role to profile mapping; USRBF* is the user buffer; UST04/UST12 will give more profile and user information.
What does it look like for one user when you go into SU56 - if you expand out their authorisations for the object do you see the values? What value do you have for auth/new_buffering (assume 4)?
Is this for a small group of users or for all users? If a small number, do the users have a large number of roles assigned? Is there a chance you have user buffer overflow from too many profiles assigned?

Shows the list of the users which are logged on to the instance in which you are currently logged in. Can say for the local instance.

Re: 6 month on.. My observations on Data Services vs SSIS
I was a SSIS developer and very new to this SAP environment. There are lots of cons and pros using SAP. I can say I am a export SSIS programmer but I still need to learn lot of SAP environment. One thing for sure SAP has very limited support community unlike SSIS. There are tons of tutorial, books for SSIS. One thing for sure, SAP has very poor documentation and it's DS interface is not very intuitive. SSIS visual design interface by far the best in the market and it works extremely well for debugging.
As I said I am very beginner to this SAP world and can't talk much about SAP performance but I didn't like it's DS tool.

I'm glad that you go it working. As for changing the default schema, I was wondering when you open the calculation view, is the top of the view appearing in color red (ie: indicating that the view is read-only. For example if the view was not created on that server and was imported and therefor considered non-native). Otherwise you should be able to edit the default schema (if you wanted to still)

RE Problem 1 : SAP Note 1945020 confirms that it doesn’t like the keyboard interactive authentication as it is not supported by the SAP adapter. As I am not able to switch off keyboard auth on that SFTP server I will have to go for a key auth instead.
RE Problem 2: thanks Amit. Why SAP cannot document this themselves is another thing.

Re: Functional Location List on which equipment is not installed
Hi Raj,
Here is the solution
1. Use IH08 Tcode to get the Functional Location List under which the Equipments are installed.
(Confine this query to your Plant Section Planner Group etc)
Copythis list of F/Locns to clipboard (Ctrl+C)
2, Open another session.
With the same selection parameters above (Plant section/ Planner Group), execute Tcode IH06 to get the list of Total F/Ls.
Here in ALV, select F/Locn column --> click Filter icon --> Multiple selection--> Exclude single values tab--> click on Copy from clip board icon.
This is screen-shot from IH06 output.
So the list remains in ALV here is the list you desire. I saw this working.

Error #Refresh when refresh the WEBI report
HI Guys,
I have created WEBI report on Bex query using BICS connection we are on BI 4.0. I have created all the calculationas and formulas directly in the webi reprot only, from BEx query just i am taling kyefigures. After i create the report it looks everything ok all calcualtions also working but when i refresh the report all values are disapperaing from the report and message "#Refresh" is diplaying all the Calculated coloumns in all the rows except key figures which i get from bex query. Does anyone had simillar issues please share ur ideas on this if i miss anything. I have created couple of reports all the report haveing simillar issue. Please share thoughts to fix this issue.
