Hi Exports

 

I need some clarity on the 3 - tier (i.e. Intelligence Tier, Processing Tier, Application Tier) architecture.

 

1. In which scenario can move from 1 - tier to 3 - tier architecture?

2. Is it possible to create 1 Intelligence Tier, 1 Processing Tier, 1 Application Tier? If no..What is the minimum dedicated servers need to be create for Intelligence Tier, Processing Tier, Application Tier?

3. If there are more than 500 concurrent user, it is recommended to create additional Application Tier. Likewise in which scenario need to create multiple

Intelligence Tier and Processing Tier?

Hi Lokesh,

 

While assigning Permit to the FL/Equip, UNTICK the field named as "Proposal". This will make the respective permit optional while creating Order.

 

When you need it, you need to call up this directly in Order.

When running tcode KO88 to settle the Refurbished Orders, error encountered is:

Valuation type not set for material XXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hi,

 

 

I created derived table in the universe and pass the parameter as prompt, I am not able to get the data when i used betwen the dates.

 

 

 

Here "CLOSED_DATE" is in  Unix epoch time and converting to human readable dates.

 

 

 

SELECT * FROM stocks

Where

TO_DATE('01-JAN-1970','dd-mon-yyyy')+((CLOSED_DATE +10800)/60/60/24) between @Prompt('Enter Start Date','D',,,,) and @Prompt('Enter End Date','D',,,,)

 

 

Please let me know what's the problem.  We have 4.1 SP6.

 

 

 

For passing string parameter in prompt is working;

-------------------------------------------------

SELECT * FROM stocks

Where SID=@Prompt('Enter ID','C',,,,)

After implementing this below note, I got the check box called International Worker in IT 0587 to identify the IW.

 

0002157216 Pension Basis more than 15k for international workers.

But, still I am not able to find in FORM 5...

I am not sure what you want to know.

 

As far as I know, a node (root or child node) is like a table and an element is like a column.

A table cannot exist without any column.

Hello Sanjay,

 

Sorry to bring this up again, what if I want to filter it only to the Account Group "Hierarchy Node". All other Account groups should still have the tax jurisdiction validation. This is currently the business requirement. Is this advisable or not, because it seems that it will be inconsistent to apply it to only one account group?

Hi Team,

 

I have two radio buttons like one is of reports and other one is for updation. And my requirement is ,If I select radio button report then the selection screen field of report should be displayed and updation fields should be hided. In the same way if I select updation radio button its fields should be displayed and report fields should be hided. Kindly do needfull.

Hi Matthew,

 

1. create a new variable A using running count function as below.

 

=RunningCount ( [Person Name-Full]); ([MRN - Organisation]))

 

2. create another variable B which is used as a flag.

 

=[B] > 1

 

It will give you values 0 for single person name and 1 for names appearing more than one

 

3. Filter out the data using the variable B using input control or filter option and perform your other calculations of days in-between.

There are no standard datasource over JEST table. In case of PM order kindly use 0PM_ORDER_ATTR datasource to pick up the status of PM order. Take the field BWSTSYS0

Specifying all the field names explicitly and using * makes no difference to performance. You could write a few sample programs to test this. Where you are only using a small subset of the available fields it can make a huge difference. If the number of fields is only slightly less than all, then you'll get a small improvement, but barely noticeable.

 

For your example, the select will happen once in the lifetime of the program and the dataset is very small, so it's not going to make any practical difference. However, why are you selecting SPRSL when you are restricting your result set by it?

 

As a general principle, I only use * if I need most of the fields and there are many fields in the table. It's a question of balancing performance against readability.

Thanks Amol,

 

I did the last one (Ignore due dates)... and now the 'saved alert situations' shows the latest date on which alerts  are generated.

 

 

In business as usual alerts are deleted and generated daily in the background, notwithstanding user 'action' on the alerts on a daily basis. So in that context, I do not really understand what 'ignore due dates'  means. This field has no help. It does not even pop up an empty box for sake of pretending to help the user  I am only using a unique overall alert profile here (not shown)
