I am having the same problem and I tried your approach but am still getting the same error. I created a sub-package named testodata and I have the files created there as you suggested. I was able to grant the role eventually as shown in the attached screenshot. But the error still shows in the second screenshot. Any idea?
You can achieve this by using fm CO_BT_AFVG_UPDATE in the exit IWO10009 (or in BAdi WORKORDER_UPDATE). Another fm CO_BO_OPR_OF_ORDER_GET helps you to get runtime values of operation fields.
in place upgrade of server OS is not recommended. I would suggest to install server 2012 on new server and migrate CMS DB to new server.

Does Period Indicator works in Journal entry document numbering?
For example, I have ARINV15 and ARINV16 numbering series for AR invoice document which for year 2015 and 2016 respectively and linked YE15 and YE16 period indicator.
The same also applied to Journal entry document series, JE15 and JE16 for Journal entry document for year 2015 and 2016 respectively and linked to YE15 and YE16 period indicator.
Assuming in January 2016, I post an AR Invoice and backdate to December 2015, the invoice series is ARINV15 but the journal entry created is on JE16 series.
Question : Is there a way I can set so that journal entry series numbering will use correct JE series (JE15 for posting date year 2015 and JE16 for posting date year 2016) ?
Current version : 9.0 PL 17

I guess this is not bug.. still i am not sure on this. In 3.1 environment Report used to save your last Context selection and by default using that Context.
I need to test the same scenario in 3.1 and 4.0 again to find with what is causing different behavior in both environment.
Meanwhile if above solution worked for you can you marked Query as resolved??

1. All components are common across all ESG.
2. Mid month Joinees Basic Pay proration should be happened for all ESG.
3. Processing Class 10 of Basic Pay is 1 or 3.
4.Driver/Labour's will be getting Basic Pay when there have stand by hours.

I'd like to know if anyone knows if in-place navigation to WDA applications launched using LPD customising is coming, it does not make sense to have to do this using a URL. I.e. if it is possible using a URL then it should be quite possible for the framework to handle this - if this a fix/patch that is coming, or how have people managed around this problem.

We had similar issue and SAP suggested us to use the following transactions:
FAGLB03
FAGLL03.
Root cause in our case was display authorisation issue. You can check the number of documents in both the cases to identify the possible reason.

As Sateesh said you can Hard-Core the values based on IF condition.
But this will not give exact values in case of Leap-Year.
For any Quarter First day and Last day is fixed. So you can Hard Core and use "DaysBetween" Function. For year you can use Existing Dimension to formulate Date,something like below
Start Date Q1:
= "01/01/" + [Year]
End Date Q1:
= "31/03/" + [Year]
If you use "DaysBetween" on these days it will take care of "Leap Year" Also.

so system has cleared in correct ,now client wants to do undo for clearing document please help

The macro you are looking for can be achieved by using the Macro function SAFETY_CALC() which is used in SNP Data views for safety stock calculation. You can replace the Total Demand Key Figure to Total Forecast and Safety Days to Target Stock in Months. You can always look at examples in Macro Workbench and come up with your own. The only problem i see would be maintaining the Product and Location in the macro when using a DP data view.

to change the data type in WSDL (imported as external definition), you need to export the WSDL and change in notepad/any other tool. Then reimport the WSDL again to external definition.
