Pretty straight forward really. You have a wage type assigned to a symbolic which in tern is assigned to a G/L.
If you go to the IMG (SPRO) and look at the steps and documentation in: Payroll > Payroll (Country) > Reporting for Posting Payroll Results to Accounting you will see all the steps.
If there are any issues it is usually due to incorrect assignment of wage type to Symbolic... or the Symbolic hasn't been assigned to a G/L. Sometimes you also get issues if the G/L has not been set-up properly. Basically if you come across an error and google it, you will find the answer. It's really quite straight forward.

Re: Export report in xlsx with multiple tabs/sheets
We have been successful by writing the Crystal report in XML using "schemas-microsoft-com:office:spreadsheet" in text fields, (you do have to create a new text field when you exceed the characters for each field. We then export as text using an xls extension. We can open as excel and our data is on multiple tabs as designed withing the XML. A pain but a valid workaround.

Queries to extract slow moving stock
Hi All,
I have the following queries to extract the item list. May I know how to modify this queries to filter slow moving item where Purchase date are over 90 days older than today date. Example, today is 01/05/15 the report will list only item where purchase date are older than 01/02/15.

Hi Rajeev,
Normally when we execute the tasks like '004', the data will be extracted from POSDM to queues that you are able to see in SMQ1.
BW team has to develop process chains to consume the queues from SMQ1 and either push the data to info cubes or PSA (Staging area). These process chains can be viewed through transaction code RSPC.
Navigate to RSPC >> Process chains >> Meta chain >> any report scheduler that is developed by BW team will be used.

How are you running your reports? Just installing the Crystal Reports designer application and using it on AWS shouldn't be an issue. However, there things that need to happen to enable it to read data from your database if that database is not also on AWS. You'll need to have a way to connect to the database over the internet and through your corporate firewall.

Yes, I saw that one, but it seemed very specific to enhancing Products, Shopping Cart, and Payments.
Section 2.1 talks about adding a new menu item, which is one part of it and then in the DEG - Generic Info it gives the custom F4 help example.
I was hoping there was a document that shows a custom example all together...Menu, custom view, calling a Z RFC to get the data.

no matter u choose RDP or Citrix, B1 is actually running in the same LAN as to your B1 server.
You dont need too much bandwidth to support that. Maybe 150K/s is enough for one client, because it only needs the bandwidth for screen update. (Similar to TeamViewer.)
Maybe my vpn connection misguide you, actually I am saying VPN + RDP should be one solution, and another should be something like Citrix.
No one here will recommend to install B1 client directly in remote office.

Data manager package log does not show Global variables!!
Hello Experts,
We are using BPC 10 sp14 Microsoft version with SQL Server 2008 R2. We are seeing an issue where datamanager package log does not show the Global variables defined in package script whereas in BPC 7.5 Global variable were visible in package log.
Please let us know is this behavior changed in BPC 10?
Below is the package script having Global variables and Package log not showing any of them.

Hetero System Copy - SWPM TST_ERROR Post Import
We are performing a heterogeneous system copy
from
BW 7.0 on solaris oracle 10.2
to
BW 7.0 on linux SUSE 11 Oracle 11.2.0.4 kernel version is 721 Patchlevel 400
The SWPM run has reached the point where the data has been successfully imported using Migration Monitor and we have attempted to continue the run of SWPM
i.e I have reached the popup
[Configure and start the import monitor.
If all packages have been imported successfully, continue with
software provisioning manager by choosing OK ]
When I restart SWPM (as root from the installation directory /saplogs/<SID> /sapinst)
and select [OK} I get the following error in a popup:-

Hi Robert,
I'm not a basis guy but I think the best practice is that RFC users need to be different in ECC and BW. For instance ECC user could be ALEREMOTE but BW user needs to be different like BWREMOTE. I'm not sure if this is what is causing locks but it seems plausible.
