Instead of deleting, try posting a reverse journal. Or it can be through a reverse entry in HR/Payroll - this can be without affecting the tax.

I am having a similar issue. The idoc coming in from the source has multiple segements and i need to create the file at the target server based on the field - FILTER2 value.
So far I have tried variable substitution and ASMA but still not able to create multiple files from PI.
Can you please share the screenshot with me as well ?

Hi Chris,
Yes, with a separate LSG, you don't need to worry about clean-up, but beware that the separation also brings the need to classify the Products separately for each LSG. If those Products are actually the same in each system, then that's double work. And, to a lesser extent, you might want to consider the database impact of having two lots of records in the system.

Yes you are correct, we can create multiple aliases connecting to different backend so practically it is possible configure both test & productive environments.
At our customer landscape, we are following below SAP Front-end sever (gateway) architecture which has got it's own advantages with change management. Following this approach completely segregates development cycle of custom fiori apps development from test to production environments.
SAP Front end server (Dev) which is connected to ECC (Dev) & SRM (Dev) & CRM (Dev)

Also, i come to know of other SAP platforms like LSO and Solution Manager which are asking for the user credential even though user is already logged in to the system.
So the business requirement looks logical to me.
I will add my vote to the "This is nonsense" comments. I've worked with LSO and Solution Manager and they certainly do not work like that! And in 15+ years of workflowing I've never come across such a request. And I've had dealings with auditors on authentication and log validity, never any issues with the WF log.
This suggests that you don't trust your own logon security, in which you should really be looking to address the bigger problem. Adding another layer to a single process is like using a cork to stop a ship from sinking.
Let me give you a real world example: managers can't be bothered to log on to SAP all the time and just give their secretary their user/password to do their approvals for them. Of course they weren't supposed to but they did it anyway. So if someone shares their user/password how is your popup going to make any difference? Hmmm?

If you are using the sap util libraries i.e. aii_utilxi_misc.jar - import this in imported archive - import/mention this in the Archives Used tab in the screenshot below. In the Import Instructions mention - com.sap.aii.utilxi.base64.api.Base64 and create a udf as shown below (add exception handling).
This udf can then be used in your mapping for decoding :
If you want to use apache libraries - Go to the functions tab and add the import -org.apache.commons.codec.binary.Base64.
Create a udf in similar lines - where encoded is the input field value :
byte[] decoded = Base64.decodeBase64(encoded);
String decodedout = String(decoded);
return decodedout;

Goto PFTC and Give your task number 12000012
Goto Menu option at top > Additional data->Agent assignment->Maintain
Click on Attributes and check general task radio button.
Now click on transfer.
Then run Transaction SWU_OBUF
Now run the new instances of workflow and it will find the agents
