Hi Frederic,

In Input template data can be made read only by using the EPM formula called "EPMReadonlyData". This will make read only for all the Users.

RfcCustomDestination for individual ASP.NET users

OK, I'm usually the one answering questions in this group, but today I need clarification.  Our SAP systems at my company are not SSO.  But we have recently developed quite a few ASP.NET web applications that use the .NET Connector to read and write data into and out of SAP.  We would really like to have these transactions be executed by each user using their own SAP login.  I know we need to use RfcCustomDestniation, but we'd rather not force users to login.

Is SSO the answer, given that we really don't want to make the users have to login to SAP through the web app?  Can we use the SNC RfcConfigParameters without SSO, or do they go hand in hand?  Please enlighten me.  @Markus Tolksdorf, you seem to have a handle on this.  Can you give me some pointers, please?  Thanks.

Re: RFQ list with reference to PR

Hi,

Go to EKPO table and check the RFQ number and item - Check whether the PR number is updated against the RFQ item. Now, refer the KBA: 2003415 - Purchase Requisition number is not updated in EKPO

You can get the list of PR's for which RFQ is created,  in ME5A report itself. Go to ME5A and insert the PR number along with processing status as A (RFQ created) and execute. System will show the PR's for which RFQ is created.

If you want the list of RFQ's against the PR, you may check the view M_MEKKE in SE16. You may create a report or SQVI query to get the report.

Re: Dynamic URL in HTTP_AAE PO 7.40

Hi Aditi,

1) By default namespace for HTTP_AAE is http://sap.com/xi/XI/System, if you want proper name space in dynamic configuration you need to set below parameter. please check below note for reference.

We have code changes in PI HTTP_AAE adapter inorder to include the namespace 'http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/HTTP_AAE'. For this, you have to

configure an advanced mode table parameter i.e., 'treatNSWithHTTP' to 'true'. By default the value is false.

1958747 - Namespace of context object and ASMA differ in HTTP_AAE adapter

2)  The below statement should be conf.put(parmValue, input); (variable input is input to the UDF, because you need to save the value(DELIVERY/PLANT1234) in the configuration key which you created).

conf.put(parmValue, "URLParamOne");

3) In the communication channel under ASMA properties Parameter 1 should be URLParamOne

Please check below blog for reference.

Using DynamicConfiguration to Receiver HTTP_AAE (IDOC to HTTP_AAE)

Praveen.

Re: C4C - Taking Registered Products over to the sales quote item line

My understanding is that you can create "Ticket" from "Registered Product". Then, from the "Ticket" you can create a follow-up such as "Quotation" or "Opportunity". I have customer requirement that want to by pass "Ticket" altogether, and just go from "Registered product" to "Quotation", so I will post that to see if there a way we can achieve this requirement.

Dear Anurag,

in the standard system there isn't a list with following detail.

I advise you over the fm already said corretly by Mariano also the two fm :

MD_STOCK_REQUIREMENTS_LIST_API  ( don't released by SAP but work very well)

and

MD_SALES_ORDER_STATUS_REPORT (fm that simulate the CO46 / MD4C)

Let me know if i have helped you

Re: Intrastat Reporting error

Hi Rahul,

What happens if you just run the Intrastat report in the feeder system - do you get the same errors?

For the Dispatch documents, you just need to maintain the master data for the Information Provider (partner record) in GTS.

Dave

Re: Unable to use recovery feature in SAP HANA Studio

Thanks Sunil,

I found the backup.log file and could see the entries associated with my user backup of my new instance.

Unfortunately I was not able to see any evidence of my attempts to restore the old instance data, hence did not get any new insight into the cause of my blank 'Recovery Execution Summary' screen.

Since I was only experimenting, this is no big loss.  Hence I'll just start afresh with the new instance.

Thanks again.  Please consider this closed.

Sorry query not working correctly, the query will be ok if documents OQUT and ORDR has related but is not right, sometimes the ORDR doesn't come from OQUT.

Re: Issues using ActivityLogReportService to find SCRAP activities

Hello Ali,

I have not re-tested this request, but in case it cannot filter by the Shop Order it is a bug and you can open a support inicdent.

As to the other questions from top of my head:

2. You can the SFC itself, but not activities. The same Activity Code can be written against different Activities (note that Activity Code in this report is not the same as Activity number, which you retrieve in Activity Maintenance).

3. It depends on what you actually want to find. But I would suggest to take data for reports from the Activity Log table rather than touching oftenly used SFC table.

4. I think you can get SFCs by Shop Order, then check their status. But probably Activity Log PAPI will be more useful.

BIAR engine automation for BO4.0 / BO4.1

Hi,

I'm using this post to create my script:

BusinessObjects 4.0 .BIAR Backup Script

We are trying to automate selective folder backup, automatically, of-course.

I'm unable to backup a selected folder with this.

The problem however is NOT with the script.

I'm using the query as : select * from ci_infoobjects where si_parent_folder=XXXXX

When I run the same query in query builder, it gives the output/list of objects as expected, however when I use the same query in the back-up script, it generates a .BIAR file, 1KB in size, which is actually empty.

Could anyone suggest a better query?

Re: Payment Advice is not sent to few vendors in the payment run

How do we know if particular vendor is configured to receive the payment advice notes via email. Is there any T-Code to check whether that email id or fax number of vendor master data is enabled to send the payment advice notes. Because, I see email id and fax numbers in the master data, but no payment advice notes is generated.

I really appreciate the inputs. Thank you.
