Hi Akanksha,

have you tried it with commas? and does that work?

I would first try that and then try and figure out why it is not working for this query.

The docs to the SELECT_LIST ABAP Keyword Documentation

does mention a strict mode where commas have to be used.

"...Instead of using commas, blanks can be used to separate columns specified in an obsolete form. Commas must be specified, however, in the strict modes of the syntax check from Release 7.40, SP05. ..."

You can move with export/import, DESTINATION_APP or import from BW again.

Hello Siddhesh,

Thank you for the hint, it looks promising. However, the navigation structure in my SOAMANAGER is different, so that I can not follow your path. This is the main page:

Screen_1.PNG

When I choose "Web Service Configuration", then I get to this page:

Screen_2.PNG

From there, I can choose the "edit" action, which leads me to:

Screen_3.PNG

Here I have no chance to change the "PSE of Key". The tab "Transport Settings" looks like this:

Screen_4.PNG

So far I couldn´t find the spot where I could see the Client PSE - do you have an idea?
I can not rule out completely that my authorization is limited. As far as I know my user has the roles SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN_TEC as well as _BIZ.

Thank you and best regards,

Ringo

P.S.: Strangely enough, today I do not get the pop-up window anymore, and other users don´t get it as well - without having changed anything in the Web Service Configuration. That´s in the testing system - but what will happen in production?

Just so that I am clear, you believe that this guide is valid for NW7.4?

Re: Enhance standard feeder class

Hi Soumya,

I tried to enhance, but after creating enhancement, i am still unable to do create pre/post/over-write methods.

When i try to redefine in enhancement mode, i get the below message stating "You cannot perform this action in modification/enhancement mode".

Again, when i try to inset a pre-method, i get the below message, stating "PRE-/POST-/OWR-Exits can be created only for redefined methods".

So, i am not able to redefine in normal mode and not able to redefine in enhancement mode. Without redefining, not able to create pre/post exits. Not sure, if i am missing something.

If possible, can you please add screenshot's on how did you enhance ? I might be wrong while creating enhancements.

Thanks and Regards,

Gaurav.

It will not work during installation. It will work at Save. That's why I mentioned the logic about Old F/L and New F/L and your conditions. You will be able to see how the MeasPosition field filled, after Save of Equipment through IP02/IP03.

Re: html and xml views

Hi Sergio,

As for the XMLViews -- which I think are better to read then HTMLViews, let alone JSViews -- it is actually pretty simple to explain:

  • All the element's properties and events have an equivalent in an XML attribute
  • All the element's aggregations have an equivalent subnode in XML (and you may omit the subnode if the aggregation is a default aggregation)

That's it in addition, the sap.m library has all controls examples written in XMLViews: SAPUI5 Explored

As an example, here are two examples of controls which people seem to have the most difficulty with converting to XML:

MatrixLayout (with rows bound to a property 'myList' containing an array of data. Note the omission of the default aggregations <l:rows> and <l:cells> for <l:MatrixLayout> and <l:MatrixLayoutRow> respectively):

<mvc:View  controllerName="nl.qualiture.plunk.demo.views.SomeView"  xmlns:mvc="sap.ui.core.mvc"  xmlns:l="sap.ui.commons.layout"  xmlns="sap.ui.commons">    <l:MatrixLayout rows="{/myList}">        <l:MatrixLayoutRow>            <l:MatrixLayoutCell><TextField value="{item1}" /></l:MatrixLayoutCell>            <l:MatrixLayoutCell><TextField value="{descr}" /></l:MatrixLayoutCell>            <l:MatrixLayoutCell><TextField value="{status}" /></l:MatrixLayoutCell>        </l:MatrixLayoutRow>    </l:MatrixLayout></mvc:View>

VIZ Chart(with data bound to a root property '/' holding the data for the different stacks. Notice the use of the aggregations in the same namespace):

<mvc:View  controllerName="view1.initial"  xmlns:viz="sap.viz.ui5"   xmlns:viztypes="sap.viz.ui5.types"  xmlns:vizdata="sap.viz.ui5.data"  xmlns:mvc="sap.ui.core.mvc" >    <viz:StackedColumn id="chart" width="500px" height="400px">        <viz:dataset>            <vizdata:FlattenedDataset data="{/}">                <vizdata:dimensions>                    <vizdata:DimensionDefinition axis="1" name="Months" value="{month}" />                </vizdata:dimensions>                <vizdata:measures>                    <vizdata:MeasureDefinition group="1" name="Invoices" value="{invoice}" />                    <vizdata:MeasureDefinition group="1" name="Recurring" value="{recurring}" />                    <vizdata:MeasureDefinition group="1" name="Variable" value="{variable}" />                    <vizdata:MeasureDefinition group="1" name="Taxes" value="{tax}" />                </vizdata:measures>            </vizdata:FlattenedDataset>        </viz:dataset>    </viz:StackedColumn></mvc:View>

Notice how clean these looks compared to JS?

Re: Does Crystal Reports 2013 support ODBC?

Don,

I'm using SQL Anywhere 12 (bundled with 2013) for my Crystal database.  I saw that BI4_Audit_DSN and BI4_CMS_DSN is set up using the 64 bit SQL Anywhere 12 Driver under the 64-Bit ODBC for the System DSN.  Do I need a 32-bit SQL Anywhere 12 Driver and set up the Audit and CMS data source for 32-bit ODBC also?  I'm trying to figure out if that could be the cause of the reports running slow and the .tmp files building slower.  It seems like it is slow to access my ISeries database.

I'm running Crystal Server 2013 on Windows Server 2008 R2, 64-bit.

Thanks,

Kim

Hello Sandy,

In this case it's a customer workflow, so activating a configuration triggers error WD363 ("customer-own workflows are not allowed to be configured").

Thanks for the notes, 1037979 seemed promising! However our sap_basis is on release 731, and all these corrections are already implemented.

Hi Sam,

If we are going to change the code, we can use 'EN' Logon language itself, there won't be any problem.

Hi Tom,

I already came across this note earlier. Currently I'm unable (not allowed) to install the httpwatch utility.

To add to the complexity, web dispatchers are used to access the portal and used between the portal and the backend systems. If I understood correctly, we need to have the ABAP Security Sessions Enabled setting turned on in this sort of landscape. Is this correct?

If it is not required, couldn't we just turn off this setting?

Thanks in advance!

Luk

if @object_type='18' and @transaction_type in ('A','U')
begin    declare          @InvQty numeric(19,6)        ,@PurQry numeric(19,6)        set @InvQty=isnull((select sum(T0.Quantity) from PCH1 T0 where T0.BaseType='22' and T0.BaseEntry in (select distinct A.BaseEntry from PCH1 A where A.DocEntry=@list_of_cols_val_tab_del and A.BaseType='22')),0)      set @PurQry=isnull((select sum(T0.Quantity) from POR1 T0 where T0.DocEntry in (select distinct A.BaseEntry from PCH1 A where A.DocEntry=@list_of_cols_val_tab_del and A.BaseType='22')),0)                            if (@PurQry-@InvQty)<0    begin        set @error='123'        set @error_message ='La cantidad facturada es mayor a la suma de los pedidos | '+ cast(@PurQry as varchar(30)) + ' | ' +cast(@InvQty as varchar(30))    end
end

Hi Norman,

You raise a good point.  Let me get it working and then I'll move it over to a Context Variable.

Re: Change currency decimal places

Thank you both for your input.

Most of the responses I got also from other consultants are basically the same - do not change the standard, there is no way to handle all the consequences, it's against ISO standards etc...

So now we try convince client to consider this 'idea' again as there is anyway risk in case we would change the existing decimals in already running system.

Re: CRM Web ui profile parameters

Hiho Eunhwa,

does the solman_admin user geht the "you are not assigned bla bla..." Message or is he even not able to start Transaction sm_crm?!

If its the second issue, please add Auth Object S_TCODE with value SM_CRM to your user.

The Role SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO (which is linked to BR SOLMANPRO) is not enough for a user! He also Needs the Standard CRM UI_COMP Role SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_FRAMEWORK.

As your template users are called IM_* youre working within the ITSM-Scenario.

Thats why I recommend to copy the processor or admin Standard Composite Role  SAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS_COMP to your customer Namespace ZSAP_SUPPDESK_PROCESS_COM (incl. all single roles) and assign it to your user.

Note: if you also copy the CRM Navigation Role from SAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO to ZSAP_SM_CRM_UIU_SOLMANPRO you also have to update this within the Business Role SOLMANPRO to enable the link between user and Business role.

Please be aware that you delete the paramter in SU01 because it overtakes all other definitions.

Regards,

Robert
