The reason for the hidden tab to show up are the required fields and thereby the enforced processing sequence in filling out the tab strip fields.
If you check the tab caching indicator upon entering the screen, it's going to be red, then turning green once you entered the required fields in the Notification tab. So essentially tab caching fails first which results in the unwanted rendering of the tab strip.
I'm afraid there is nothing you can do about changing this behavior. Required fields are often the cause for tab merging issues. You'd have to get rid of the required fields (make them optional) in order to fix the problem.

Issue doing availability check in APO for GATP
Hi,
We are trying to do an ATP check from ECC to APO. We have a custom BAPI (Function module) in which BAPI BAPI_MATERIAL_AVAILABILITY used for this purpose (this inturn calls BAPI_APOATP_CHECK). We are passing plant, material, unit and check rule as inputs. The output is the Available Quantity. In our case, we are getting the correct available quantity for Non-GATP materials. But, for GATP materials, we are getting the available quantity as Zero. Could you please let us know if any other paramaters need to be passed while doing ATP for GATP materials ( GATP config in ECC and SCM)? Also, is there any alternative way to achieve this?

For a trial version I would recommend a minimum of Microsoft Windows Server 2008R2 Enterprise Edition if possible as it is a nice release in terms of support for older releases such as Netweaver 7.0 SR3, although the ABAP technical structure hasn't changed Java has a lot in that time.

Restrict AR approval with IMA11
Hello,
We approve ARs with a workflow, but that is also possible to do manually in IMA11.
I cannot find any authorization object for system status to restrict it, and do not want duplicating system statuses with user statuses.
How can I make sure that Approval status can be set only through a workflow?

Creating a new Public Holiday seems to be only the first part of your requirement since you mention that it also involves a Public Holiday Quota.
How do you generate that Public Holiday Quota? Through a table or through a PCR?
If the new Public Holiday has a Public Holiday Class that is different from the other Public Holidays, then you should be able to use that information in a PCR.
Example :
- If "today" the Public Holiday Class = 0, nothing happens because it's not a PH
- If "today" the Public Holiday Class = 1, the Public Holiday Entitlement = DWS
- If "today" the Public Holiday Class = 4, the Public Holiday Entitlement = DWS
So a Public Holiday with PHC = 7 will have an entitlement if it falls on a weekday (DWS = 7) but no entitlement if it fall on a weekend (DWS = 0).

i Am not sure if the oModel.read(path, filter) function will work like that, check out in the API what other parameters you can pass to the omodel.read function you would need to pass if you want to go with objects.

Based on my experience Selection table (S Table) which usually has name like /1APO/S**000**. This is a selection table and gets created for individual planning area in system. Read the selection id which has flag "A" (Alert Monitor) This is the table from which gets the details of Agg levels/selections for which alert is generated.
Additionally please spend some time on this program /SAPAPO/AMODAL_DELETE to find out where it is reading data related to database alerts. This will help you find out table names other than /SAPAPO/AM_ALERT.
Please do share details upon finding the solution
