But I think this badi contains only the importing parameters to put some validation checks.
If we want to change the header field value based on the PO enter in the PO reference field that can not be done through this BADI.
If you have any other solution to it, then it would be great.

In your case:
location of script file: /sybase/DBI/backups
isql '-i' argument should be: /sybase/DBI/backups/sp_dumpdb.sql
complete isql command:

The type of storage doesn't matter here, it's a shared nothing approach. You can compare it to Oracle Parallel Server (which was there before Oracle RAC). If one master or slave fails, there are mechanisms that the set of disks is remapped to the standby node. But at any time only one node accesses a certain storage area.

max date with categories
I have a dataset that looks like this:
Customercode Appointment type Appointment date
123 a 01-01-2014
123 a 10-01-2014
123 b 16-01-2014
456 a 01-01-2014
456 b 16-01-2014
456 b 24-01-2014
Based on this data I would like to know how many appointments a customer had after the last appointment with type a.
So for example for customer 123 I would see that the last appointment with type a was on 10/01/2014 and he had 1 other appointment after that:
Customercode Last date A Appointments since last A
123 10/01/2014 1
456 01/01/2014 2
I tried working with max, for example
=Max ([Appointment date]) In ([Customercode]) Where( [Appointment type] = "a")
But then it will only show the max date for type a and I cannot seem to find how to get the result I want. I tried to google but that didn't help. Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

SAP Basis normally are not supposed to touch/modify any Master or transaction tables in the system .

Impact of Table Logging on Standard SAP Tables
Table Logging is not currently active in our system, so if we activate this parameter what will be the impact on system standard tables.
Please find the below example,
For some Standard SAP Tables, the table logging is already enabled, but as overall logging is not activated in the system, the logs are not getting saved for these tables as well.
.
in the above table the log data changes have been enabled, but as per the below screenshot the overall logging is disabled.
so, if this is enabled, what impact will it have on the system standard tables.

Using the Import Statement in SQL procedure in SAP HANA
Hello Experts,
I am creating a SQL procedure to schedule a job in background. The problem is I want to schedule the data which should be obtained by making using *.ctl file. Further more the *.ctl file contains some *.csv files. I just want to know whether we can make use of IMPORT statement to import the required .ctl file in SQL Procedure. If so how can it be done? or Is there any different procedure to accomplish this task. Please Help me out to solve this issue.
(Note: * indicates the filename)

Check table SWW_WI2OBJ. That's the one that includes the relation between the object and work items. That is also where SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT finds the work items. You could always wait until the table has been updated. Perhaps you can somehow check that all those 50 work items are there, etc. and then assume that everything is ready for email sending. It's not even that difficult. It is just something I would use as a last resort.

Problems regarding Production Planning (SOP and Sales Order)
Hi experts,
I have recently gotten a question and do hope that I would be able to receive some aid in solving it:

Create SOP (Oct, Nov, Dec) for (20,10,30) and run MRP to generate the plan orders.
There is an urgent sales order of 10 units coming in soon. There is a need to do a build of 10 units in June (Assuming the current period is June). What do you do in the perspective of a planner?
Eventually, the sales order is not accepted.
Planner manually creates a plan order for 15 Nov of 5 units.
Rerun MRP.
Explains what happens.
