My guess is that one characteristic is set for single results recording, and the other is set for summary results. Check the control indicators. The long text objects are different in these instances, and the indicator is not stored in the same tables.

We are using SAP B1 9.0 Pl08 HF
I am trying to figure out what customers get displayed on the inquiry, "list of business partners".
I am logged on as the manager and I only see which customers have my salesman#.
Here's where the plot thickens, I have other users that have no customers for their salesman# and all the customers show up when they go into the "list of business partners".
What else controls which customers get displayed on the inquiry?

I used the routine USEREXIT_BEWERTEN_INIT and appended the relevant data to the TKOMV internal table.

Although this does not directly with what you are having we had an issue with inheritance when giving access to certain functions of Information Steward.
Even though some users were able to view data, others that had the same id were not able. The solution to that from my understanding from security is that they removed the inheritance from the security group that the users were added to.
Might be an area that you could look into and see if that is messing up your access. Hope this points you in the right direction.

I activatedand created the instance SAP Business Warehouse 7.4 SP5 incl. SAP Business Objects BI 4.1 SP2 on SAP HANA 1.0 SP7 using the SAP Cloud Appliance Library.
When I logon using Remote Desktop to client environment, After that I logged on to the environment and Double-Click on the icon SAP Management Console on the desktop, I start the SAP NetWeaver BW instance A4H, It showsthe following error:
"Cannot connect to sap service on abapci.dummy.nodomain
webService error: 21
the operation timed out
WinHttpSendrequest failed in plugin_winhttpfsend()
DCOM Interface error: 800706BA
The RPC server is unavailable".

And thanks also to Chetan Verma also for a Correct Answer. When I edited the formula I found that I needed to remove the two comma and it works perfectly. Also, it's helpful to see the items Listed.
In addition, I would start with open.sap.com, it's free and quite good especially if you want to start with HANA along with above listed course pre-requisites.

For the time being, I would prefer you to move to SP09. HANA SP09 have Smart Data Streaming (SDS) which is closely integrated with HANA. It's life cycle is managed by HANA cluster, works with HANA users, can use DU, has monitoring views, integrated with HANA studio, SDS HANA adapter and CCL HANA reference table. I would suggest you to move SDS since this is where we ESP dev team will be putting more afford.

I have not done this for multiple dimensions so you'll need to experiment with the syntax. I would guess something like.

Even we faced a similar issue where the listings were changed in the backend but the changes to listings in CRM backend were not being pushed to SMP as part of listings delta object.
I have raised an OSS with SAP and shall let you know once i get a resolution from them

I have encouter issue with Total stock quantity key figure calculation.
details as below
Have material XXXXXX with below details in ECC
Total received quantity is "9" EA
Issued quantity is "0.500" EA
Total stock as on Date shows as 8.5 EA.
Problem in BW report
Where as when it comes to BW ,in inventory report the total stock quantity shows as "9" EA whcih is wrong.
The total quantitiy figure shoud show as "8.5 " EA .
I have verified cube and underlying DSO and found that both received quantity and issued quanitity have been loaded correctly.
Please help me to figure out how the key figure "Total stock quanatity " is not considering Issued quantity value"0.500" EA.
I have problem with only this material remaining materals are loaded correctly.
