HI Miguel, Can you check RSPLSE and reply what you find there.
I was looking at the below info and I don't see anything changed in 7.4
Displaying Active Locks - Planning Business Data with BW Integrated Planning - SAP Library
If you want to delete active locks, use SAP lock management (transaction SM12). Depending on where the lock table is stored, you might have to select a different lock structure.
In SAP lock management (transaction SM12), you cannot see which data records are locked however. To do this, use the maintenance transaction for lock settings in planning (transaction RSPLSE).
Perhaps after the upgrade some security tasks might be pending, just wondering if you can try using ddic and let us know.
Thanks

Hello,
Does anyone know how is initialization done for the 0ME_ISM_SD_INV_ITEM & 0ME_ISM_SD_INV_HEAD extractors, is it like any other normal load or like the standard SD extraction?

Hi Jurgen,
Our business needs storage location report on month end. we thought to build customize report similar to MB5B and MB5L logic. Report logic would consider current MARD stock and calcaulates the month end stock by using MSEG and MKPF tables. Since our business is looking for report similar to MB5L, I want to know what arethe movement types are considered for MB5L. Could you please suggest how can I get the information.

Hi Meena,
Did you check the field status in OBC4 and verify if there's a field status group for the tax field.

Hello,
Thanks to the article Installing the Apache HIVE driver in SAP Lumira http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-50419 I was able to get SAP Lumira to recognize the Apache Hadoop Hive 0.10 driver.
However, when attempting to use this driver, I am unable to make a connection. I enter the User Name, Password, Server:Port but Lumira just spins on Connecting... and after leaving it go for about 10-15 min...I cancelled.
I suspect the answer lies somewhere in the JDBC Driver Properties under Advanced Parameters...but I have not been able to locate any examples of what properties to leverage.
Has anyone actually configured a succesful JDBC connection to Hadoop using SAP Lumira?
Thanks!

Hi Ludek,
Thank you for the quick response. I am able to do this with WEBi report with any issue. But I am having problem with Crystal Report. How can I pass the report parameter for Crystal reports? I was not able to use - /biprws/raylight/v1/documents/528313/parameters
Raylight api don't seem to recognize the Crystal Reports.
Hi Amit ,
I appreciate your help .Your suggestions did help in the performance of data load but i am having problem here.In the data load only one record per data package is getting loaded in to the DSO(In 50000 records only 1 is loaded in to DSO per package and another 1 record getting for another data packet)though there are multiple records in source which are satisfying the logic written in routine.

Hi,
You can find the most active vendors (purchasing activity) based on the PO raised. Execute the transaction MC$: Maintain the period to analyze and execute. If you need based on date, go to ME2N and maintain the required period in the document date field and execute. Download the list and get the list of vendors (who were active for the period).
As already suggested by Jurgen, inactive vendors can be found by downloading the complete list of vendors and list of active vendors and then by a simple vlookup in excel to find the inactive ones.

AKPT
Bernard,
I didn't. SAP Business One came with it. If your system doesn't have it, there is a tool out there that converts PLD to Crystal. It looks like SAP took that approach to creating the Crystal Report.
Hi Venkat,
If you want to upload IT0008 through any application server, then you can use any custom table ( Z Table) then map all your wage types in that custom table. Then through some interface program you can pull the data from that custom table and update the data in IT0008.
Thanks & Regards

We have EO scenario from File to proxy. Sender message is EO & when ECC gets the message from PI ( Via Proxy), due to bad data it gets sutck up in SMQ2. My understanding was since it is Not EOIO, the other messages should flow.
What i see in ECC is there few messages stuck( not for same message type) . It looks like unless we fixed the failed message ( from message type1)
the other messages ( from message type 2) also won't go.. This is diff then what i thought where in EO, if message fails only that particular message will be stuck up.. please let me now otherwise...Thanks!
Thanks for your answer but can you be more specific, where must I put this custo exactly?
Hello all,
My company is planning to have Business suite on HANA and there is a huge discussion around using business objects (primarily Webi, Crystal Reports) vs. using the classic abap reports.
The concern is around development, benefits, functionality, accessibility, security and maintenance to name a few.
I know WEBi is more appropriate in terms of semi self service and usage with Hana Live or building directly on top of Infosets and Functions, security will be challenging compared to the ABAP reports, accessibility will be outside the ECC application and via the BO launchpad (unless there is a way to embed BO reports in the users favorite menu in ECC). I am not sure about the complex logics that you can build via the ABAP reports if they can also be built in HANA live and presented in WEBI.
The need for classic ABAP reports cannot be completely erased. But BO can be leveraged for custom reports.
For standard reporting we will still use ABAP unless there is a way to view those via WEBI as well? Not speaking about embedded analytics, I know you can see ALV on Crystal Reports in ECC.
How can they be used side by side...for what specific functionalities?
I would like some expert comments on ABAP reports vs. BO on ECC powered by HANA for a better and practical comparison.
Your help is appreciated.
Thank you!
Hi Experts,
I'm displaying Header text and item text from BKPF and BSEG tables in editable mode in the alv
grid. after, I'm changing the data, If I click on save button then that should be updated in the fb03 tcode for corresponding
fields. Here, I'm not getting any errors and function is executing perfectly. But , that is not updated in the fb03 tcode.
So, Please suggest me some solution for this requirement.

Hello everybody, I have a doubt concerning the design of a consolidation solution in SAP BPC. Namely for the retained earnings and the period's net profit I was thinking to separate them in two different accounts and at the end of the year make the adjustment year to retained earnings.
However I was taking a look at the design for the USGAAP Starter Kit and the way they designed it is the following:
The income of the current fiscal year (recorded automatically in flow “ F10 ” ) .
In the Equity section of the Balance Sheet, there is no specific account for the Net profit of the period. This net profit must be included in account“24140-Retained earnings(accumulated deficit).
So I end up with the following options:
Any thoughts on what the best approach would be generally among these options or advantages/disadvantages of both? Anybody knows how does the IFRS Starter Kit handles this or is designed? Following the practice, the two accounts approach is more natural and straightforward I would say, since this adjustment (period to retained) is made at the end of the year, not each month or quarter.
Appreciate your feedback, BR
Hi Rahul,
I was wondering if you ever got the answer on viewing the SQL statement from a standard report? I'm in the same situation with my client.
Thank you
