Please notice that it is not possible to carry out the reverse of a document when one or more items have been already cleared.
You need to reverse the document, first you should reset the cleared items and afterwards reverse the document.
Additionally, if you want to "reset and reverse" the clearing document, T-code FBRA should be used, but not FB08.

It is said that switching of valuation area from Plant to Company code or vice versa is not possible. However if such switching is absolutely necessary then it can be done by DATA CONVERSION. Could somebody tell me what this 'Data conversion' mean.?
I have setup Power Designer Portal 16.5 SP03; Honestly, I find the User experience bad - it is very slow and it has too much unwanted information in Repository Explorer. I like the HTML reports the tool generates than the portal navigation. The portal also is missing information like columns in an index, not null in tabular view.
If anyone has done this kind of customization, can you please share your experience and or contacts?
Is it even possible to move the data Apache Lucene - Apache Solr for better search.
As much as I like Power Designer client product, the Portal is no where near enterprise software application category and definitely needs some open source support to make it better.

In this case, you have foundation and plug-in in both systems. I assume you have set data source and business rules in GRC system, am I right?
If this is the case, you might have several problems as before SP 10 for GRC 10.0, backwards compatibility was not implemented yet. It means that you must follow SAP note 1352498 in order to synchronize your systems.
If this is not the case, have you checked these values in SCU3 in ECC system?

After changing the password for j2ee_admin in secstore(config tool) and restart of system, I am able to open VA in my system. My issue is that user j2ee_admin is getting locked intermittentlyin 001 client for which we checked all the RFC's and sld, but nowhere j2ee_admin is mentioned.
Also, when i tried to open SDM i could not open it with the new password. It opened with the old password,so thus got confused whether the password got updated in secstore properly or not.
Please help.

If you have changed the password of the J2EE_ADMIN then you should update that in the securestore of Configtool and restart the J2EE stack.
When you start JSPM it asks for the SDM password and not the J2EE_ADMIN user password.

The image will be visible when you deploy and run the application in the browser, if you have done it right. The preview of a view that you see in the NWDS (designtime) may not show all features that are visible at runtime.

could you provide more info? What is the app built in? Is it a web dynpro ABAP app? I asusme that EHP5 and EHP7 refers to a backend ECC system. Is this assumption correct? Can you run the app directly from backend system? If yes then the issue will be with portal and you should try different forum. Why do you think this is related to security?

Our current system has Group Valuation and Transfer Pricing with material ledger activated (10 and 31 currency types). While performing testing for intercompany stock transport orders, I noticed that in CKM3N (Material Price Analysis) 'Purchase Order Grp' shows up if we use 645 movement type but not when we use 643. Is that an expected system behavior? We have ECC6 EHP6
We had to use 643 since we are using cross-company stock transport orders with SD billing and invoice. We don't have stock-in-transit since the plants are only 200 miles apart.

I was using MBS to synchronize than I change to RBS and it work.
it was fine in the 2.2 SP2 but with 2.2 SP5 for some reason it crashed.
but it's solve now.

When I try to login, I get the following error.
BC scoping error
"Groupware is not scoped in for synchronization, the synchronization is not possible. Please change the scoping for synchronization to work"
Is there a step that I missed?

My company is in the process of taking stronger security steps with a SQL Anywhere 16 database on Windows 7 and 2008 using SQL Anywhere v16.0.0.2003. Part of the lockdown revolves around displaying information at login during interactive sessions. The idea is to display a message as a popup when the user successfully logs in using DBISQL.
We found information about the post_login_procedure in the documentation and that seemed a promising choice for doing the job. So we took the example SQL from the documentation, changed the conditions, and found that our message was indeed displayed during login using dbisql. Unfortunately, there's a problem with how this mechanism works and I am hoping someone can help us figure out what we're overlooking (or maybe it's a bug).
If I launch dbisql by double-clicking it and set my connection parameters manually, then everything is okay. If I launch dbisql giving it a connection string either from the command line or a shortcut, then things don't work so well. The message text is covered by the "Connecting to database..." dialog. Having the text covered would be simply annoying if the story ended here. The dialog has the input focus and cannot be bypassed. We can move the dialog and see the message text, but the dialog displaying our message text with the OK button can't be accessed. You can't click OK. You can't click the close button on the dialog frame. The only option is to kill the process which defeats the purpose since you're trying to get logged in.
I'm certainly open to any ideas on how this problem might be mitigated (or another mechanism that can be used instead).
