Cannot Connect with UNX in Lumira 1.011
Dear Experts,
I have installed Lumira 1.011 in my laptop and I could connect with 4.x Universe
But what I found is that we have bulit osme UNX under 4.x BOE but cannot find them in the connection only UNV display
Would you kindly let me know whether we need to install some componet in our server side

Hi Don,
PFB the issue in detail:
1. Database - 'Dynamics' has db_owner access for the user we used to login.
2. It has 2 schemas - 'cit' & 'dbo'. There are some 15 tables in format - cit.tablename & 25 tables in format - dbo.tablename.
3. 2 stored procedures sptest1 - queries on tables of cit schema & sptest2 queries on tables of dbo schema. These 2 executes fine in sql server.
4. In crystal report, i connect as database expert -> JDBC(JNDI) ->
connection URL : jdbc:sqlserver://wsdbserv01:8433;
Database Classname: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
user name & pwd: with db_owner access & database - 'Dynamics'.
The issue is i am able to add the sptest1 procedure. where as sptest2 gives error -
"Failed to retrieve data from database details: not implemented"
The same JDBC connection works fine for this user & other databases. Also, works for tables of 'cit' in this 'Dynamics' DB. But not working for tables of dbo schema in the same DB.
No idea why its happening. Can you please share your thoughts on this.

I have tried CrossTab. Grouping is ok but drilling is no longer available (similar to use Advanced).
The screen captures are as attached:

We can see that the data in legend are in order.
(The effect is similar to using Advanced instead of CrossTab)

I think the order is as follow: the first item (in 11/1/2009) is within the group 0490001-0500000, and therefore the group 0490001-0500000 is the first (bottom-most) item in the legend. Then the second item (18/10/2009) is within the group 1190001-1200000, therefore the group 1190001-1200000 is the second item in the legend, and so on.
Please help.

Certainly a "weird" thing...
On some kind of field (i.e. double, DateTime) when you import the wsdl into VisualStudio the generated proxy has one additionnal boolean field for each of these UDFs (ex. double U_Value, then you have an additional bool U_ValueSpecified).
This additional field has to be set (U_ValueSpecified = true) for the framework to send the real value (U_Value).

by the way, there is no sense to run ML Closing if you done change MM period, i mean
MM Period must be greater than the period you are closing in ML, you can review the details in FM CKML_F_GET_SL_PERIOD_INFO (i just did a fast debug with MUST_SETTLE), its not simple to understand the code because system assing 2 letters in this FM depending on a case and then do the validation.
Are you sure other consultant do ml close in 2013/02 but MM period was 2012/12? there is no logic in this statement because in 2013/02 there was not GM relevant to ML in this period.
By the way, if the consultant do this, you can not run ML Close for this material in 2013/01, you must to in 2013/03, because material status in 2013/02 is 70 close and dot allow you to do mlclose in a previos period.
Now, the question is, why you want to close ML if you still dont open MM period ?
I guess you can close every month from 2012/12 without any kind of problem, just doing ml close and MMPV for every month.
Or maybe you want to set status 70 close to all of your materials? you can do this with CKMHELP program, but im not sure if the program also validate if MM period is greater than the period you wnat to close in ML
Please, give more details about what you want and maybe someone can give you an advice.

For upgrade to NW 7.3 you shall need a minimum of Solman 7.0 with a minimum of SP23 .
Recommendation shall be to have Solution Manager 7.1 as SAP support for all previous Solman releases will end by Dec 2013.
